just drove 6 hours to narberth, pa and they told me that burt wonderstone hasn't been playing there for almost 3 years now. shame on you on cinema at the cinema for telliing me i could watch it there.
Well, if you have already driven to Narbeth, it’s just another nine hours up to Lansing, MI to see it at Celebration! Cinema, where it’s no doubt still playing.
@@dmrr7739I followed your advice, and although I didn't see you wrote this comment 3 years ago, I don't think that should matter. If you're going to give advice, please make sure it's timeless. Anyway, I packed up my car with popcorn and Burt Wonderstone posters, ready to have a 5 bagger of a time, and I drove to Lansing in Michigan, ready to find a cinema in which the film was playing. I found nothing but movies like "Oppenheimer" (some movie about a psychic, a bit like the Illusionist or The Majestic) and Martin Scorsese's new movie about flowers, deadly flowers (a remake). I cried all the way back home, a 20 hour drive. Thanks for nothing. Still I appreciate the attempt at advice and so I'll go ahead and give your comment 5 bags, but I'll throw in a little calendar so next time you make a comment, you add in a little proviso saying "this comment may not be applicable 3 years from now".
"I don't wanna give away the ending...you just have to see it for yourself." How the fuck do they not lose it? I was laughing my ass off because it was so drawn out.
If Gregg got just one movie head to see Carrie through til the end he did his job. A true five bagger is one that you don’t realize is a five bagger until you see it for yourself.
the whole not spoling the ending nonsense was absolutely hilarious. I'm crying. "I give it 5 bags of popcorn but im going to put a litle curtain around it so you can't see them" LMFAO!
Tim is on his way to a lifetime achievement award with comedy. This is master-class long form comedy. The blending with the real world as he runs for DA is brilliant.
I love how the way Greg acts about the ending of Carrie, he makes it seem like he never saw the original or read the book, it’s so funny it isn’t even a twist or anything hes acting like it’s the usual suspects or something
God I have to break from form for a minute and let everyone know that the book is so good. It’s ten times better than any of the movies and there’s been like five.
I love watching this show slowly collapse in on it's self. I know Tims done this before but the chemistry between Tim and Neil here is perfect. If only it could go on for years.
“Well we’re gonna be doing this show for years I hope” - prophetic! And imagine if Tim had practised his magic all that time, he could have had a career going. Always listen to Gregg.
What happened to these guys? I remember when this show used to be about the reviews. Now every episode dissolves into a petty argument and I'm just left confused and upset because I don't know what to watch. Tim and Gregg need to take On Cinema back to its roots or I'm taking my bags of popcorn elsewhere. PS. I give this episode three bags of my popcorn and one of those Chinese finger prisons that doesn't let go until Tim and Gregg shake hands and settle their differences.
This first time I watched this and saw the extended pause on Tim's face after his blurt wonderstone review... I died of laughter. I had to focus to breathe.
JackJohnson101 FINALLY!!! I started rewatching these a few days ago, iirc it's in every one (pretty sure i first noticed im their season at victorville theater) Considering they've made jokes regarding background noise (AC unit at victorville) they HAVE to know about it, and it has to be some elaborate joke that'll play out at some point, the question is when? Side note: First time i noticed it i thought it might be funny if they filmed an episode (or had a segment during oscar coverage) where a fire alarm goes off and they can't find it to pull out battery. OOOOOH, if they did it during oscar coverage they could make it play into a joke where gregg burns down the set while making popcorn!
Greg almost lost his shit when saying "and not spoil it for them with...spoilers." You can hear him hold back his laugh. 5 bags for keeping character Greg.
@ 3:42 is EXACTLY what i sound like when I'm trying to finish a sentence before bursting into laughter and then you can see the quick cut from Tim as his mouth starts to curl into a smile/laugh. God these guys are so good but I think they were about to break here! love this series so much
Once I saw Gregg's hair in this episode I knew he was going to bring some sauce. And boy was I right. Gregg can be a bad boy when he wants to be.
man that hair tho
François Paquette Tremblay He was spicy in this one alright! Kinda like those little hot little cinnamon those spicy little candies.
@@Maronator perfect for something with a hell theme 😏
This is a hot hot review
That hair and that satanic color scheme shirt
We Carrieheads are glad Gregg didn't give away the ending, and it was fun to watch it and then find out he gave the five bags of popcorn.
You're supposed to write "spoiler alert" before you post something like that
the COVETED 5 bags
Love how Tim says he loves remakes and then he says "if you're tired of the same old remakes"
the duality of man
It's not a good movie but I gotta hand it to the director for making a great film.
I love how unbelievably passive aggressive these two are towards each other.
I like tims angry voice when he yells at poor gregg
Tim’s not even passive, he’s just aggressive with a soft voice 🤣
Yeah you can tell they genuinely hate each other
Oh just wait, that passiveness will subside lol
Tim: "I hate magic."
Gregg: "I like magic."
god, these guys are always at each others throats.
They are. They really really are.
just drove 6 hours to narberth, pa and they told me that burt wonderstone hasn't been playing there for almost 3 years now. shame on you on cinema at the cinema for telliing me i could watch it there.
Thank you for the heads up. Wont be going there!
Was planning on heading there this evening, thank you for the warning!
Well, if you have already driven to Narbeth, it’s just another nine hours up to Lansing, MI to see it at Celebration! Cinema, where it’s no doubt still playing.
I wish I’d seen this comment sooner. I was so disappointed!

the beeping in the background is a nice touch.
Meek555555 sounds like a fan running
Lmao
@@GeddyRClol it gets way louder when they move to Victorville!
"It's got a truly memorable ending, and that's all I'm gonna say" *winks*
Gregg's energy levels were through the roof in this episode. Spitting fire
I watch these just to see what Greg adds to the bags of popcorn!
DV Swia You misspelled his name.
"I don't wanna give away the ending...you just have to see it for yourself." How the fuck do they not lose it? I was laughing my ass off because it was so drawn out.
KiNg CoBrAa they take out all the giggles during the post editing process and cover it up with cgi
It's a remake with a famous ending. Who doesn't know about the ending?
You just need to go watch it for yourself
If Gregg got just one movie head to see Carrie through til the end he did his job. A true five bagger is one that you don’t realize is a five bagger until you see it for yourself.
@3:58 Gregg explaining why the hot candies are being included with the popped corn rating, gold
"because it has a hell theme." Greg's face at 4:02 is hilarious.
Steve Carrel and Jim Carrey truly are different in different ways, Tim's deep insight is simply astounding
Wise choice by Gregg not to review the movie to save us from spoilers
Tim's face at 3:18! "No review?" He is cracking up big time.
Yes!!
I almost spit out my coffee when he put a curtain around his popcorn
I hope you were drinking that coffee out of an OnCinema commemorative mug. Tim needs the money
the whole not spoling the ending nonsense was absolutely hilarious. I'm crying. "I give it 5 bags of popcorn but im going to put a litle curtain around it so you can't see them" LMFAO!
"the video rental scene"
You can avoid this whole scene if you haunt the VHS sale bins at your local big box store
The poor animator has to make new graphics for every one of Greg's ratings.
Its the best part of the show for me and the only work he gets.
Gregg is possibly the most real comedic character ever created
Wait til you meet Neil
Can't believe they never brought back the "Screenings near you" segment, it was fucking brilliant.
Tim is on his way to a lifetime achievement award with comedy. This is master-class long form comedy. The blending with the real world as he runs for DA is brilliant.
4:50 "Definitely my favorite Jim Carrey movie" *contemplates suicide*
I love how the way Greg acts about the ending of Carrie, he makes it seem like he never saw the original or read the book, it’s so funny it isn’t even a twist or anything hes acting like it’s the usual suspects or something

0:05 that little glance to his right. LOL
My thoughts exactly!
tim can make me laugh by moving his eyes
Tim: during the show: "I love remakes"
Gregg brings a remake in his segment
Tim: "Remakes are stupid"
Thanks, Gregg, for keeping me hip to what's going on in the video rental scene!
Can't wait to see who Tim's guest is next week!
"look, it's 2 hours long" THAT'S an argument. well, I'm sold xD
I love when Gregg winks at the camera
7:53 I love when Greg almost makes Tim break- they’re seriously the funniest duo
Definitely my favorite Jim Carrey movie. Stares soullessly.
8:56 “IT’S ALL BOB DOLE JOKES!”
I think you can hear someone off camera snort at that comment😂
this show is so fucking great
Ok, the Carrie review is probably a top 5 review of all time on this show. Freaking hilarious.
I love watching this show slowly collapse in on it's self. I know Tims done this before but the chemistry between Tim and Neil here is perfect. If only it could go on for years.
Good news, it did go on for years!
Wish granted
Absolutely loved the "giving away the ending" bit. Perfectly delivered the whole time
I'm re-visiting this episode...I'm not going to comment on it as I might give away the ending
I’ll wait until you’ve seen it to leave my comment
This series is my new favorite thing. Started watching from S01E01 and I love how passive aggressive Gregg and Tim have become towards each other.
greg is one of the most beautiful men alive today
"and supposedly very well made"
"Because his references are so ..." 🙂👌
Thanks for the heads up on using a newspaper as a resource, Gregg!
“Well we’re gonna be doing this show for years I hope” - prophetic! And imagine if Tim had practised his magic all that time, he could have had a career going. Always listen to Gregg.
Who all rewatching all the On Cinemas at 4:07 am in 2021?
Thanks for the location of a theatre in Daphne, AL

4:01 "Cuz it has a hell theme." *Affirmative nod.*
Tim is so hilarious!! I like the long awkward moments, then the silly disagreements between him and greg.
Tim is straight up diabolical with his plot to take over Gregg's popcorn classics choice. That attack was premeditated.
"because the comedy is timeless, it's like an evergreen tree" 8:47
I really appreciate that Gregg doesn’t want to spoil Carrie for us with spoilers
Tim, you are a genius. Like in real life too. You might be my favorite comedian of all time. Greg, u are a popcorn classic!
I love that the Hobbit is a recurring bit, hated that movie.
jack reacher was much better
If you liked Jack Reacher you've probably got brain clots
Why, what's wrong with The Hobbit? I'm not kidding when I 'm saying it's a real 5-bagger.
Congratulations, you got pools of blood in your brain
3:42 "...with spoilers 🥺" he sounds like he's gonna cry lol
Dennis Miller Live was a hilarious treat to watch. Thanks, Tim!
Everything about the Dennis Miller part. Lol "he was in the net" and "its all Bob Dole jokes"
and its got a truly memorable ending and thats all im gonna say ;|
Love the Kubrick stare Tim does at 4:50
There is a subtle incessant beeping in the background of the audio track in this video and it drives me crazy. This is a funny episode though
I hear it too.
thats gregg youre hearing

lol at Gregg's face when Tim hijacked the popcorn classic segment
you just won a subscriber, these guys are great !
Tim's Ebert is a polished character study. Two Thumbs up.
2 bags of popcorn, and also 3 additional bags of popcorn... for a total of 5 bags of popcorn.
Should have so many more views. An underrated episode
his face at 4:51 lol
It's timeless like an evergreen tree.
i love how he props up dennis miller before he even turned super conservative lol
he was in the net
The neck?
He is just a guest, remember that Tim's the star of the show. It's his show.
Gregg really knows how to make me cringe.
...and Tim plays the "it's my show" card.
Genius
4:48 to 4:52
Funniest moment
He died a little inside. Must have been thinking of his ex-wife and/or Ayaka.
6:00 Crazy how Gregg predicted they'd be doing On Cinema for years! A true, dedicated movie buff with incredible foresight and intuition
I love finding an Oscar for Jim Carrey whenever I open a bag of popcorn.
One of the fine peaks of On Cinema humor. Well done guys
7:53 - Tim breaks character
what character? It's Tim Heidecker, with Cinema On At The Cinema
Haha I love when they break character
I love how he says "..and the guest this week..." as if there was any other guest
sometimes there is..
the contempt these two share for each other is immeasurable
I'm actually team Gregg. He's really getting me into alternative cinema and it's nice to a young fresh liberal on the scene for a change.
"He was in 'the Net.'" You don't go tip to tip with this maven of Miller, a man that truly knows his cinema is Tim Heidecker and congratulations.
"No review?..."
"he was in The Net" lmao
Goddamn this has been going on for almost 10 years lol that's insane.
Greg almost lost his shit when saying "and not spoil it for them with...spoilers." You can hear him hold back his laugh. 5 bags for keeping character Greg.
There's nothing to slam The Hobbit is just a great coming of age tale. Memorable characters and humor to go around.
"One of the great ones, Dennis Miller." LMAO
Tim’s intros are fire. The hooks that snag you in.
This video literally has me laughing out loud. Funniest series on RUclips by far.
"But I did learn about the cups and the bowls and everything like that".
That one got me Rolling!
That look at 1:58 hahahaha
Any schmuck can say what they think of a movie, but it takes a real expert to know when NOT to give a review. Bravo Gregg!
I did learn about the cups and bowls.. and because of movies like this you get introduced to new kinds of cultures 😂
Really glad they showed us where to actually see one of these films...Now I know where to go if I’m ever in one of those cities.
Tim’s keeping the Leary flame alive in his own standup
I hate magic.
I love how fucking angry Gregg gets regarding television.
Gregg legitimately thinking Burt Wonderstone will "wint the oscar" is just one nugget of what makes this show hilarious.
@ 3:42 is EXACTLY what i sound like when I'm trying to finish a sentence before bursting into laughter and then you can see the quick cut from Tim as his mouth starts to curl into a smile/laugh. God these guys are so good but I think they were about to break here! love this series so much
