Afan Forest MTB💥Blade Trail (Glyncorrwg)

Another visit to Wales and its been a while since we tackled anything over at Glyncorrwg MTB Centre in Afan Forest. Anyone who has ridden here knows how savage that climb is but the weather was on our side so we thought we'd have a blast on the Blade Trail.

that trail section you were stuck on whether or not to go down has been closed for years, it's called ghost train, if you go up the fireroad a bit you'll come to the heartburn trail which used to be the climb after ghost train. it was a superb downhill trail, quite techy in places, blade hasn't really been the same since

I have to say I really didn't enjoy blade , I wouldn't do it again. To much peddle and not enough down for my liking. It's more like a xc peddle fest .

I have to agree with you. Felt like 3hrs UpHill for 3mins down.
