Hey man, not sure if you still do RUclips, but if you respond that would be fantastic. I am 15 years old going into AA hockey for a highschool team. I will admit, I am not that good, but I am looking to get better, much better that is. I surely don’t have the height, I’m about 5’6 but yet to hit my grow spurt. Do you have any suggestions for someone like me just starting to workout and work to get better at hockey? I have never tried to workout, but I am planning on it. I am looking for everything. I don’t have too much leg strength and barely any upper body. I am a twig. Is there a diet to recommend, and especially workouts? If you could respond, that would give me the motivation to start. If not, then I will be at the same point, not ever working out because I don’t know where to start.
Just start training. You'll get better every week. Make a plan and do it. Don't spend to much time thinking about it. A good balance is: Mon/Wed/Fri - Strength/Plyos & Tues/Thur/Sat: Stickhandling, Shooting, Quickness. You can find all the exercises on my channel or other channels. Keep it very simple to start and be consistent. Eat enough protein and get enough sleep! Commit 100% for 3 mo, then take a week off and reevaluate, swap exercises, make a new plan. Hope that helps.
Hey can you do a video on powerplay positions, I might be playing point on the powerplay next year if my one time improves and I want to know how to play point or half wall (f3) if we us the umbrella formation. If you could do a video or give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Hi Zack I have been doing drills all the time to keep my head up while stick handling. Really working on feeling the puck or ball on my stick but just can't seem to get any better. Thanks

I'm not sure if you still read these comments, but I have a big issue. I have a really crappy daily schedule and get barely any time a day where I'm not occupied, meaning that I have little opportunity to practice at home. How can I get around this to play hockey better?

Its really in your free time and if not then rearrange your schedule so you can train off-ice more. You got this man!
Prioritize and execute. Find time to train or don’t complain that you don’t have time it’s really only those options
