I thought that was pretty cool, because the only people who would even possibly realize it are the diehard fans who’ve been playing it since the very first entry.
Nass is Secretly a Pikmin I think Tiny’s part is less offensive since I personally liked that they gave each character their own music feel but Diddy’s parts... What the fuck is up with the ear rape?
Tiny's version was what made me realize this was a remix while I was getting my butt kicked in Smash Bros. I felt the pace of that version totally fit with the action that was going on in Smash. With Diddy's part I think they wanted to give a complete the journey that this production was going on.

Ratings are there to mainly inform parents on what's in the game. Also, PLENTY of T rated games got away with Hell in them in the early 2000's, so why is Melee different? Not to mention, games that were previously given a lower age rating are now given a higher age rating. EarthBound, for example, was originally rated K to A (or E for Everyone using the current system). Yet now it's rated T & contains no swearing or anything. Yet games like NBA 2K18 & Sonic and the Secret Rings can get off scott free with E ratings despite having minor swearing. So, timing has nothing to do with it since unfair ratings are still happening today. Your logic makes no sense.
Finally, someone in this comment section who doesn't diss Diddy Kong's part. No other videos talk bad about Diddy's verse in Melee, so I don't understand why 5+ or more people in this comment-section repeatedly bring up that earrape comment, so unoriginal!
