My girl friend is from Lestho. So with that and your RUclips Vids I'm doubly motivate to ride to there. Looking forward to more postings .

This one is an interesting topic. There are so many of them out in the mountains. They can become very unhappy when you don’t stop to give them treats. Some of them will even pick up stones. One of the risks when you are traveling alone.

If you’re tempted by the offroad motorcycle adventure life and you’ve never ridden a bike before, don’t get the biggest and heaviest bike out there. The bigger and heavier they are, the more skills they require off-road.
Great video. I also plan to visit this December. I am looking for accommodation recommendations in the area . Even a good campsite will do. Do you know any if you slept over in the town. Any there any other activities to do like boat cruises in the area? Thanks
Hi there. I’m sorry I didn’t get to respond earlier. Did you manage to do the trip in December? Accommodation options are at Katse Dam itself and a village called Ha Lejone, which is about 50-60km away. There’s also a town called Thaba-Tseka, which is about 60km of terrible gravel road from Katse.
@@GetLostAdventure Thanks for the reply, we did manage to do a trip. We camped right at Katse Dam for 2 nights at the old information centre which overlooks the damwall. The views were incredible!

@@GetLostAdventure they are naughty. So one must pack sweets to avoid rocks thrown at.
@@GuyOnBikeSA if you have to stop for every group of kids you come across you will never get to your destination 😂😂
