It would have been nice to include what actually comes for free and what's additional. The loftie, for example , has a subscription, too, and a lot of features need that to access.
All of these clocks contradict sleep health which is ridiculous. The best alarm clock for me would be that it dims to black (like the rest of my bedroom) while I am sleeping so my REM is not interrupted and 2 does not involve any type of app/phone/charger so I can avoid EMF exposure while I sleep. Makes sense doesn't it ? I can't find one anywhere. Would love suggestions.
I have a sun alarm clock, but the damn clock display is so bright it keeps me up at night, even on the dimmest. So I had to tape a piece of cardboard to it to block the clock display. Looking at all these clocks, they fall short in the UX department imo, and having to use an app is a no-go, no thanks, I don't want advertisers to harvest my sleep and week schedule only to leak that data in a data breach 4 years from now. Maybe I can design a new shell for my crappy one that makes it look prettier, and add a flip-up hatch for the overly bright clock display....
Loftie is the worst alarm clock. Alarm does not go off. Horrible if you depend on it to go to work in the morning. There are reviews all over the internet, different websites and Reddit about people having the same issue. Yeah its nice, but it doesnt do what its intended to do. I do not recommend.

It would be nice to also rate them on brightness as the light is the main aspect of these alarm clocks.
Smart.

Which one is the brightest?
Offline clock functions are REQUIRED.
Thanks a lot saved a lot of time to search. Just double checking if Philips will work without internet?
What clock is the brightest?
The sun
You don't get it? We in some parts of the world DON'T get the sun up in the morning during winters.@@Phoenix-ov5gg
@@Phoenix-ov5ggbazinga
@@Phoenix-ov5ggunfortunately the sun doesn't work on my schedule. Soft hands response.
I wish I could just let the sun wake me up naturally but I would be late to work everyday.
The casper glow light app will not work for android phones
what happens if the app goes offline can they still be use

I really wanted the Phillips connect but £250 is too much, I even waited for Black Friday and they didn’t put a discount, very stingy 😠
i heard they only have an American outlet too! kinda annoying
Thankfully I'm coming into this now and competition has driven their price down.
Let's review sunrise alarm clocks... goes on to use 1/3 of video time to review clocks for people that don't want sunrise alarm clocks?
You failed to look at light output. Hatch I thought was great but it doesn't have the brightest light which was a big downfall.
Interestingly all these devices are very expensive, when you can get many good ones for a fraction of the price
Review vililumens sunrise clock!

if I trusted my phone, I wouldn't need to buy an alarm clock.
