Thanks Graham. I really like this figure. I had the loose one first and several years later found the boxed on at TFCon. I wheeled and dealed a little and got it for about the price of a loose complete one, compared to what I am seeing them go for on eBay these days. I can understand you selling some of your boxes. Great Review M, nice to see someone else point out the "Other mode" that he has. His shorter mode does make him the same size as the other G1 Deluxe cars. That box is beautiful, out of my entire collection I only have 3 boxes. Hooah!!!!

It definitely works and like you said, makes him the same size as the other deluxe Autobots. It also makes his robot mode that much more different than Counterpunch’s. I have been collecting for a long time now and really got into getting boxed G1 figures for a while. I’ve only bought one G1 boxed figure this year and don’t remember buying any the previous year. They are just to expensive now. Even boxes in poor condition command a hefty sum. Do you mind if I ask what 3 boxed figures you have? Cheers M
Those are all good figures. I have a boxed Horri-Bull but the box isn’t in very good condition. I don’t have any boxed Micromasters at the moment. The asking price has really going up on them over the last few years. Cheers M
Another minty figure M. 👍 I still think it’s great you actually transform your minty figures when in reality you could leave him in alt mode and then pickup a second beat up figure to do the transformation. It’s definitely a cool concept. His G1 cartoon appearance was very brief but memorable. The transformation is top notch for such an old figure. It is unique, but speaking with full honesty, it is not for me. :) I saw a video once, and the screen time that Punch/Counterpunch enjoyed in the G1 cartoon was I believe less than 4 minutes. :S My only gripe is that you have to buy two copies of the toy to have Punch and Counterpunch standing next to each other. :D
You’re quite right about needing 2 of the toys to display the characters next to one another. I bought my loose copy first and then found the boxed one at TFCon several years later but I’m still glad to have them both.
That's a great piece, I use to keep everything that came in the box, unfortunately I never was clever enough to keep the box 😓 but that lasted as long as my parents wanted and I had to throw them away 😢 Great video M 👍🏽✌🏽

But I regreted selling most G1's so I have bought a decent amount back over the years. I don't own the big collection of G1's I once did but I am very happy to own the ones I have now. Alongside my Masterpiece purchases and 3rd party MP figs I think I did ok. I am waiting on New display cases and hopefully I can make a video of my collection room soon. Take care INT brother. Roy

Great figure. Not enough screen time for him. I opened some of my G1 transformers thru the back of the cardboard with a knife and opened some others on the bubble too. The trick is to make them look like they are unopened. Gravity plays a role in the heavy G1 Transformers. The bubbles start pulling off.
Yeah, he unfortunately had very little screen time. As long as the figure isn’t very heavy, carefully cutting the bubble is probably the best bet. It may be difficult to gauge where to cut if you cut through the back of the card. Which method has given you the best results. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers M
I feel like the decepticon mode was done first by the designers; it looks the best and the weapon looks good too. Then as an after thought they simply said "well let's flip him around and put some stickers on there and make him an autobot too!" I would display him as a decepticon.

And i just ate Turkey too lol. So proud its been at least 18 years (i said 17 on my my new video but i forgot im 41 now & i think i been smoking longer then starting at 23 yrs old. Thats when i started the 2nd time.) While using NO additives i was just sick for 10 days & i keep getting pneumonia every winter twice for the last 3 years strait. & I couldn't take the chance if this tumor turns out to be malignant i wanted to live so it made it much easier this time.

Quite a unique Transformer to say the least, we didn't see many like Punch-Counterpunch afterwards, it's a simple transformation, like most of the G1 collection. I'm not sure about the alternate robot mode, he looks too short for my taste, still quite interesting to get a review of a Transformer from over 30 years ago.

Like you I greatly enjoy this fig, still have mine although the weapon has long since been missing. And I don't really intend on completing him anytime soon. I have never seen the Box you have thank you so much for explaining it. I actually used those points to get the two mail in for both Omnibots. I miss the catalogs too :/ I do not like the alt transformation, he is to squat for my lining, but it does give him a more solidified look. Thanks for an awesome look at this what I believe is one of the best of the year's line of toys.

Funny you should ask about pre-transformers versions of the triple-changers. I do have a KO Diaclone version of the Blitzwing. I think “Diaclone” is spelled incorrectly on it. If I’m not mistaken, the tank mode is actually green and the jet mode is grey. I have Sploorocket as well. It has a some sort of front-end loader scoop at the front. It will likely take me a while to find them and get around to reviewing them but I’m sure I can do it at some point. On a side note, if you look really closely, I think it’s actually called “Space Rocket”. Cheers
Boy-oh-boy, the potp is very true to the original. I am surprised by the level of articulation, especially the arms and the conversion, while not hard, is involved enough to be really interesting.

Nice...this guys is what Dinobot was to beast wars. I didn't wanna pay the inflated prices for the new power of the primes version, but would love to have the unique mold. I wish that the autobot sticker flipped away like the decepticon sticker did. Not sure, but I don't think I like the little stubby transformation, but thanks for including it...wonder if the newer version can do something similar??

It’s nice that you can speak both languages. All Canadian Transformers packaging had English and French back in the 80’s. I like seeing the two names for the figure. Sometimes they are very different from each other.

Funny you should ask about pre-transformers versions of the triple-changers. I do have a KO Diaclone version of the Blitzwing. I think “Diaclone” is spelled incorrectly on it. If I’m not mistaken, the tank mode is actually green and the jet mode is grey. I have Sploorocket as well. It has a some sort of front-end loader scoop at the front. It will likely take me a while to find them and get around to reviewing them but I’m sure I can do it at some point. On a side note, if you look really closely, I think it’s actually called “Space Rocket”. Cheers
Boy-oh-boy, the potp is very true to the original. I am surprised by the level of articulation, especially the arms and the conversion, while not hard, is involved enough to be really interesting.

Hey bro. I’m with you on not wanting to pay a premium for the POTP version but will probably still get it. I suppose it would have required extra engineering to add a panel that flips around to hide the Autobot symbol. It would be really cool if they did. I think he had a brief appearance in G1, brought to introduce himself but that’s about it. He would certainly make a complex character(s). Thanks for checking out the video.

It’s nice that you can speak both languages. All Canadian Transformers packaging had English and French back in the 80’s. I like seeing the two names for the figure. Sometimes they are very different from each other.
