Yes Winsor & Newton is my favorite paint. I believe it is one of the highest qualities out there. However I’m looking for alcohol water colors. A friend of mine is just raving over them. They’re very vivid. So for florals It really makes them pop. I love love love the new backlight! You’ll have to let us know how you like it.

Every Christmas I bought watercolour paper for my Mother. She painted botanical studies and the surface of the paper was key. I understand your struggle to get the right quality.
