This is a great video. It's amazing how they were predicting electric vehicles 25 years ago. I went on a tour of the reliant factory when I was 12 years old and saw the 4 wheeled bond bug prototype.
It’s sad that they never made the vehicles they were on about is this video. It would’ve been nice to see them be produced. Their main selling point would’ve been a rust free fibre glass body. We need more fun quirky vehicles on the road.
When you see this in 2022, compare it to a Russian Lada factory , a Japanese and another European brand , you could see that the company was doomed . But I would give the world now to have those companies , where people love their job , where the manager gets dirty hands , and the directors wife takes a photograph of the press , back again !
Thanks for unloading this great watch 😉... I'm a regal van man myself love reliants
A fascinating insight and an historic documentary. Thank you for sharing

An electric Kitten Estate? I would buy one.

Excellent insight into the production of a cult classic. The Sprint footage was a bonus!

A blue bond bug/sprite, proper revealing having previously owned a bug ? 🙃
