Thanks ever so much for posting this 80's classic.I always have loved the music of Alan Parsons Project and its various members. It is so nice to see and hear Colin Blunstone,Pete Bardens,David Paton.Ian Bairnson and Stuart Elliott on this awesome song!!!
I have had this KEATS album, vinyl, for many moons. But this isn't the Turn Your Heart Around song I was searching for... now after playing this one, I can't think of the melody of the one I was thinking of. (OLD AGE) ;)
R.I.P Pete Bardens the irreplaceable keyboard player from numerous bands and sessions, but most importantly Camel. Bardens passed away a long time ago and I think we're a lot lesser without his music. This song was a hit, but it has the makings of a far larger hit in fact to me at least a number one smash. However, this was not written just to be a hit single this is quality great progressive pop and features an incredible group of musicians from Camel, Pilot, and The Zombies/Alan Parsons Project too. Just listen to this with your eyes closed and go "wow' it's that good.
I believe the keyboard player is the same from the band Camel. One of the greatest progressive rock bands ever. Keats is pogressive rock aswell but with AOR touches.
I you think this is good (which it is), Colin Blunstone has a new CD "On the Air Tonight" in which he sings this song again, and it is better than ever.
2:25 Must Be One of The Greatest Construction of Solos of All Time! Long Live The 80s!
RIP Ian Bairnson

And that's all!
the mid-80s spawned some really good synthpop tunes and this was an example of one of them.....
El sonido de Bairnson es único.
Fantastic magic Colin blustone

Best unknown song ever!
