This is the first video I've found that the aloe and oils actually mixed without splitting!! 👐🏾👐🏾 I think the fact you mixed the aloe and coconut oil together first then the shea to the mixture, helped the aloe bind to the oils better. Yass girl you made me life SOO much easier!!
It would be a good idea to list your ingredients and measurements in the description. Makes it easier for those of us who would have a tough time remembering. I would love to try your recipe 🙂
@Elizabeth Lisa Yes!! Listing all of the products and measurements used for each would be very helpful. I'm one of those people who will not remember lol. I had to turn the volume all the way up because I could barely hear her. Did you notice that as well?
I will try this with my own mixtures. I make my own shea butter mix but wanted to start using the aleo gel from the leaf. I have several oils combined with the shea butter, now I will add the aleo. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for showing me how to add aloe into a body butter. I am going to try this when I make a special shea, cocoa, mango butter coconut oil..and other oils mixture I am going to make.. now I know how to add aloe thank u :)
Usually when i try to make this when i put it on my hair it’s really oily and even a couple days after it’s still extremely oily how do you prevent that?
Just soap 🧼 and hot water 💦 plus I always have a bottle with bleach, lemon 🍋 and water, that I use whenever I clean dishes I use that also to remove any smells or bacteria 🦠.
1- i have 3 questions please if i use the ready made aloevera or fresh one what is going to be the shelf life for each ?.2- and i need to make the shea lotion fluffier and lighter so i can use in in a pumped soap bottle ?? 3- i added more oils but i don't like the smell i tried peppermint oil and rosemarry but still what can i do please ??waiting for reply it's urgent my friend's birthday's tomorrow !
Unless you add a broad band preservative at the most it'll last in the fridge one/two weeks. I say that because once the air hits it and the fact you're dipping hands in it creates mold/bacteria.
hodatarek119 Thanks for watching, if you Use fresh aloe vera make sure to keep it in your fridge so it won't go bad. And yes u can definitely use the aloe vera gel.
thanks for replying if i use the ready made aloevera or fresh one what is going to be the shelf life for each please ?......and i need to make the shea lotion fluffier and lighter so i can use in in a pumped soap bottle ?? waiting for reply
Hi, I like the consistency of it. But do you store it in the fridge until you use it all or do you add a preservative? Once the aloe vera juice or any water agent is combined, it needs a preservative.
Since all the ingredients are natural they are versatile. Shea butter is also safe to use all over its a so good for you . I just don’t know if you can use on your face because I have acne prone skin so I’m scared to use it on my face but Aloe Vera is so good for the face . I hope this helps .
Greetings , I'm familiar with the two types of Shea Butter...it's the container below / beside your right hand , leave in conditioner for hair (Shea Moisture) ?
Hi, Queen Ben I'm sorry I wasn't able to reply under ur comment I dk wats up with RUclips, anyways wen I make this much it usually last from 2 to 3 month I just make sure to keep in the fridge because of the fresh aloe Vera.
If I use this on my hair, how would I apply it? Do I apply after a wash and condition then rinse it out? Or can I apply it on dry hair for a daily hair moisturizer? I am trying to grow my hair to at least waist length but my hair is also prone to drying out a lot. Thank you.
JoyousCookingCo. Hi Thanks for watching. Yes is it a daily moisture to style your hair. It will definitely keep hair from dryness and adds alot of shine to ur hair as well. I hope this help good luck
JoyousCookingCo. Uwlcm... I recommend that you keep it in the fridge especially if you use fresh aloe vera. I ALWAYS keep mine in the fridge and it stays nice and cool and last months at a times it never goes bad ...a lil goes a long way
I call it hair growth oils because those oils helps repair damaged hair and enable the hair to grow. All those oils are also good for the body especially those with dry skin it not necessarily just for hair. Sorry for the confusion
@@msmarieloves6349 If enables hair to grow i am not sure i would apply it on my body though....but anyways sounds like a great treatement for the hair .
Hey, you mixed your hair growth oil with it and you put it on your skin. So hair growth oil on my face and body is that a good idea 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🙅🏽♀️ Please someone let me know?
Thanks for watching and great questions, maybe I wasn’t being specific enough besides my hair the only part of my body that I would apply this to are my hands and legs. Although, all the oils that I use are great for the body but I don’t like oils on my face. Also this creamy was mainly for hair and that’s the reason I mixed some of my live-in conditioner with it.
Hi Thank you for Subscribing I appreciate it, in this video I was making a scream/ moisturizer for my hair. Contains fresh aloe Vera, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, vitamins E oil, a lil bit of tea tree oil. Honestly u don’t need to add all those oils u just need to add the oils that I like and prefer. Hope that helps
that's true but once it blended together is become a cream and as long that u keep in your fridge it stays that same. if you are using fresh aloe vera u must keep in your fridge.

Can u list the product & measurements please
How do you use it? And how often?
Nice but why didn't you give us measurements of what you used?
Can I make it without the essential oils
Nice! How did you clean out the blender?
Just soap 🧼 and hot water 💦 plus I always have a bottle with bleach, lemon 🍋 and water, that I use whenever I clean dishes I use that also to remove any smells or bacteria 🦠.
Greetings and Gratitude...
What is the product in the Shea Moisture container ?
Hi Healthy, it is unrefined Raw Shea Butter, there are two kind yellow and white, I personally like the white one.
When using the oil on hair and body will I need to heat it up then apply it or can I just use it as is ?
Weirdv just use it as it is
Great video!!! What is the shelf life? 👍🏾👌🏾🙏🏾
Depends I normally make enough one month or less. Thanks for watching:)
Hi Marie, want to give it a try but I'm worried about the aloe vera gel leaving some bits has this happen to you before

how long will this mixture last in the fridge? What is the longest I can preserve it? Thank You!
Zoooli Oli I believe that if you keep it in the fridge, it will last long.
She tells us, this in the video. Go back and watch it again. 😃
I've heard other youtubers state that adding vitamin e oil into the mixture will help with preserving the mixture longer.
How do I store the butter if I don't have a refrigerator?
So do you use this as a moisturizer or conditioner? What is the added Shea moisture cream?
Both
using fresh aloevera can make it last for some few days right ? so can we use the ready made one ??

FYI don't know what happened to the sound after your intro but I couldn't hear the instructions.
sorry abt that

as long that it stays in the fridge it won't go bad
Idk abt putting leave-in conditioner on my skin

can I use it on skin and hair?
Yes you can but as for me I don't like the stickiness of the Shea butter so I don't use on my skin.
Doesn’t it separate?? Because oil and water don’t mix
that's true but once it blended together is become a cream and as long that u keep in your fridge it stays that same. if you are using fresh aloe vera u must keep in your fridge.

as long as you want it too
Please don't be offended, are you a Ghanaian ?

I tried to mix aloe Vera gel in my she’s butter mix and it won’t work
Hi llicia it wont mix using a spoon 4:56, u have to put in a blender.
Ok thanks
You can also try using a emulsifying wax to help the water and oil bond better
not through enough
