My 2011 ranger is rated at half ton.I have sunline pickup camper, loaded with everything that has, 1160 lbs loaded.

What a nice camper. Never seen the door on the side before. So nice so you can put bike's on the back. I didn't see what make it was an how much. Can you get a TV an microwave. Does it have an AC.
This is in Germany, the brand name is on the camper. You could look that up and find out if it’s available elsewhere. The website will always have the specs.

I just had a Travel Lite 590SL installed on my 2020 Ford Ranger, XLT Super Cab, with factory towing package. The GVWR for my truck is 6,050 lb. Although they assured me that my truck bed camper was manufactured for my truck, theGVW after installation was 6,351 lbs, or 351 lbs over weight. Any comments from anyone if I need to do anything to my truck suspension?
Gvwr means nothing it’s the payload of the truck which matters in a truck camper gvwr is towing payload is truck campers.
If the payload of the truck is 1,500 lbs and the camper weighs 2,000lbs you’re overloaded by 500 lbs.
you gotta count weight of the people in the truck to and all gear. So if that is 600 lbs more that’s 2,600 lbs you’re overloaded by 1,100 lbs
I'm looking for a truck camper to fit my 2020 Ranger XLT, with off road package. Has 5 foot bed. Would camper like yours fit my truck.

My travel Lite 770SL says it weighs 1335 lbs including 20 gallons of water. It only has a 9 gallon tank.
Ford Ranger is 0.25 truck, can you even upgrade to 3.5 ton truck to accommodate this huge camper?
The ranger tows 7500lbs in stock form. I think this would be just fine

Not sure. Those are marine style latches for yachts. Probably readily available online.
I didn't care for the CNC feel. It isn't warm or homey. Camping (for us) is about making memories. This looks more like a home office. Obviously, there are some nice ideas included. I have always wanted a side entry but it is probably too big a sacrifice of usable space. Thank you for the video.

Capri Camper and Travelite make slide-ins for the Ranger in the US.
The four door Ranger with a payload capacity of 1400 to 1500 pounds, You have to include the weight of the driver and passenger, fuel, water, propane, camping gear, This a fully self contained camper with toilet it will never work. Adding airbags or better tires does not increase the payload ability of the truck it only makes it handle better.
Good Point. The MAX load cap of that Ranger is 1900 lbs but drops if you add 4wd or go crew cab. I looked up the dry weight of the camper its over 1400 lbs. So only the 2wd extended cab could work (in theory) and only if you brought next to nothing.
That camper is way too big for the truck! That’s why you have to upgrade the suspension and how much would that cost? And I still think it would handle badly.
Where are the front jacks to remove the camper?
Jason, this was made in Poland so no jacks. You just slide it off.
@@tonytampa5335 what does it rest on when taking off the camper? Can you buy in Poland planning after this year in North America to relocate to Poland and buy a new rig or van
I would need to know more information on the truck. Appears like this is just to much camper for this little truck.
I’m not sure what the payload is in Europe, but in North America the Ranger in SuperCab 4x4 form can haul up to 1650 lbs! The design could be lightweight enough for this truck. It looks bigger than it really is due to the overhang. So long as the tanks are towards the front so they are over the rear wheels, I’m sure it’s fine. I doubt Ford would display a Ranger at their booth that’s overloaded. There could be liabilities if a client tried to duplicate the load themselves.
if you notice outside there is a suspension upgrade package being advertised for the truck, so im sure that with that it can manage the camper

@@Jeffisright -- Then I suggest you go out pricing the both of them. You'll find for the truck and the camper combined they'll most likely be in the 70 to 80 grand range. And just how many people in the US has that kind of spendable income right now? Very damn few. If your one of them then congratulations but you are full of beans otherwise.

this is a very interesting I didn't see any lights or where you would be able to plug in a solar portable electric TV yes and do they have rear shades and I was noticing in the bathroom is there a portable air filter for the air!!+:):)🏡🫖☕🌎🌏🌍💟💟💌
