"Carbon is plastic. And there is no way im gonna pay thousends for plastic!" Mannn you are a real legend!!! And it prove that we, the senior riders, know something...
What’s happening Eldred, long time brother. I had to take time off the bike because of a work related injury for 8 months now. I’ve been given the clearance to start my active riding whenever I’m ready. So diet & exercise will be key into getting me back on track. There are days that I feel like riding alone and when I do, I choose a similar bike path that stretches 37 miles round trip, traveling thru (4) beach communities here in California. Playa Del Rey,Marina Del Rey,Redondo Beach, & Manhattan Beach. This is my absolute favorite riding alone ride. The scenery, the ladies strolling along the bike paths are #1. Last story, in the of 2007, I decided to ride alone one Saturday morning & met the entire Germany Track cycling team on that very ride. As they were motoring alone, I asked if it was ok to draft them ? They said sure, with a few chuckles here & there. We were traveling at a fast pace and my racing prowess did not let me down. When we stopped in Marina Del Rey heading back, I asked them where were they from and that’s when they disclosed the information of being from Germany & racing the preliminaries for the worlds championship in Carson California. I had actually gone the day before to watch the session and then meeting the entire team on a random bike ride the next day. Fond cycling adventures & memories. Keep up the excellent work Eldred ! You& @Veloharmony has always been an inspiration in my cycling journey. KUDOS 📌
This was a nice change, enjoyed the conversational format. You indeed ride in some great areas, these estates are beautiful. As for Reginald Scot, yes he does raise some valid points. BTW he runs his bike store in Brunei.
I have ridden a little bit around Grogan’s point park, but I’m not that familiar with the bike baths that take you there. Your ride was reminiscent of the rides you and Paul did heading out to Spring creek park.

The ride videos are great but the knowledge you drop is invaluable, appreciate your channel Legend!
Glad you like the channel. I get a lot of support from my channel members enabling the investment of time.

Sorry to hear about your injury and glad you've recovered enough to get back on the bike. Take it slow and enjoy the journey. Thanks for sharing.
I'm with you, bro, about all this... especially those car sounds... Helpful reminder to all of us to take it easy from time to time.
Wow. You lifted the lid off the Box Of Truth. Thanks again for the enlightenment .
Glad you liked it. I had fun on that ride.
If you don't rest your body, you will surely pay the piper. Always good content my brother.

I just found his videos and really enjoy listening to him.
Additionally all you complaints and observations on the world are identical to mine!!
Amen.
Love your valuable information for listening to your body.❤❤
Glad it was helpful!

Yes. It’s a very quiet route pretty much anytime of day. It’s my favorite lunch ride for any pace.
The music is a bit loud and distracting from your great advice.
Do you still review on Rapha gear?
Yes. I just haven't purchased much Rapha Stuff recently.
