I strongly feel that, The Alto which I had in 2002 was far superior compared to this 2022 model... Even though it didn't have airbags or ABS, but it was an excellent vehicle to drive, fun to drive, I don't know whether you guys will believe it, till 1 lacs kms... The AC was absolutely perfect, no leakage, no gas top up.. Awesome ❤️

As the owner of 2011 alto k10 , now i am even more proud of my car , no breakdown whatsoever and still fetching 70 percent of investment my father made in 2011.
Owned the Previous Alto k10 CNG Green and it clocked 120000km's in approx 4 years. Only faced 3 issues in that time • Water Pump Noise then Replaced • Engine Fan turning off 3-4 times in 4 years • CNG stopped working once due to some malfunction Otherwise no issues. Sold it later. Overall it was a good car with a peppy engine with little vibration as the car aged.
This new Alto K10 is super choice. Better than other LUVs, if you have budget constraints and have city commute on daily basis then this is the best choice. Using this 2nd Jan, awesome choice, Superb car, 10/10

Mine was a 2019 alto 800 , it had only issues related to low ground clearance, internal small space in back cabin for above 5.6ft passengers.But very reliable car no electrical or mechanical issues even driving for 55,000 kms in 2.5 yrs ,car also goes through heavy water logged roads in kolkata, alto is an emotion .
Mine also had a alto 800 2014 to 2018 it was a good cute car and the engine was outstanding for the price point but as you said due to low ground clearance and bad roads of kolkata made me to sell my 2014 alto 800 and purchased celerio X in 2018 but again due to low ground clearance I again had to sell the celerio x and buy a tata punch Overall Alto 800 is a emotion but yet with lot of cons too ...
I have 2008 alto, did 1lac km, mileage of 18 km in city and hills and 22 km in highway. It's good car for city and hills but definitely not recommended for highway. Rear seat comfort pretty bad for long drive

Alto. Coz it will cost way way way less maintenance. Excellent milage.. and good resale value. And parts availability. Japanese engine reliability. And good service center availability. No brainer choice
Tiago is a hatchback and Alto is entry level....you can't compare Alto and Tiago....Alto's competition is Kwid and Tiago is comparable with Swift, i20, etc...

The only thing I hate about Maruti is, they always give more preference to fuel efficiency than safety. Those tires are so small, I doubt in the rainy season, how good grip the car will have, especially when they have also reduced the weight of the vehicle. Is fuel efficiency that important? Had govt not passed the mandate of airbags, I'm sure they would have omitted airbags too.
@@RAJ-km8gw That's because Govt made it mandatory. But Maruti's HEARTECT platform is so much into fuel economy, that they have reduced so much weight. My cousin brother has New Swift and even he admitted that while going over the road patches, the car wobbles like anything, you don't get that stability confidence. This problem was not there in earlier models of Swift. The same applies here, in pursuit of more fuel economy, they are reducing the weight of the car too much.
Safety features - zero Build quality - zero Power - zero Cost - very cheap Mileage - decent That's a popular Indian car in a nutshell. The government should put in strict rules to make sure every car that is launched in the market has good build quality and good safety features.
