He and Linda met when they were 10 because they went to school together. They later married at 16. He didn't become famous until they were in their 20's. So they were together long before he started messing with so many women. He said that there was a "Don't ask" rule they had and as long as he came home to her, she would remain. When she heard about his illegitimate son, she left him and went to their London home, leaving him here in the states.. I wonder if that was why he never acknowledged Jonathan. Linda has past now so maybe he can reach out now. She knew what he was doing but as long as the truth didn't come out, she was fine... At least that is my understanding of it all
If you really look at him and watch him in The Voice, in shows or in interviews, he is not free in his reactions, he is blocked. He's not a banker or anything like that. He is a musician, and artists work with feelings. He needs to feel what he has done and is still doing to his son. My sympathy goes towards his son because I know what it feels like not to be accepted by the father (and even worse, like in my case, by the mother).

He married at age 16 she was his first girlfriend ... I think that would be very hard because he still loved her being his first love, but was out there performing with women throwing themselves at him.
It was bound to happen at least they worked thru it and stayed together, apparently she never wanted to leave him, even with all the affairs!
I was a big fan of his at the time but he was a terrible husband to say the least.
Being betrayed isn’t something you can overlook time after time. Don’t understand why she put up with it.

She sacrificed her whole life so he could furfill his dreams. Her own dream was to be at home waiting for him. Then she made useless jealousy scenes everytime he got involved with someone else, while he had his whole family meeting his mistresses. His own son scheduling his affairs. God, that woman had nerves of steel. Of course she was depressed, who wouldn't? She had lack of self love. From my point of view. I don't judge her or him. However if that is true love, no thank you.

Tom Jones called his dressing room "The Workbench". He would already be naked underneath a robe as his groupies would be invited in. And even more creepy is the fact that his other son, his manager, was the one who set up the "dates" for him.

That's basically it in a nutshell.
Not a good person in my book .. he didn't have to sleep with his sons mother that he refused to acknowledge. He turned his back on his son who had nothing to do with what his mother did as he claims she tricked him. The son should not be blamed for what his mother supposedly did .Tom could of zipped it up . I I think it's horrible to take this out on his son who only wanted to know his father and not want anything from him but some contact

The thing is that the wife put up with it, when you married a famous person to make you marriage work you put up with allot of infidelity. That’s not my cup of tee you got to be crazy to married with a man like this, love his music but how disrespectful to her and his son.
They were in love from when they were both 16. She did not fall for a famous person....she fell for a young man her age and he became some years after. She never stopped loving him and he claims she is the only woman he loved her always....
That is simply a generalisation. I dont think its true for all famous people, really. Paul McArtney's Linda is a great example, they were together right till the bitter end.

Yes, he is a great entertainer/vocalist. Saw him once in Vegas, great show. I wonder why Linda never divorced this man, though? With all his marital misconduct she probably would have walked with more than half the assets. ...could have still lived lavishly for the rest of her life.

Yes, DNA proved he has at least one son from a 3 day fling with a model when he was 47. He did have to pay monthly support. He has nothing to do with him otherwise to this day. In addition, his son is homeless and in shelters. His son's name is Jonathan Berkery.
