    These look lovely! Can you do them with other fillings, I haven't seen this filling before

      You can fill them with a savoury mince recipe too

      You can fill them with a vanilla custard, if you go to my galaktoboureko video recipe you can use that custard or if you want a creme patissiere you can use my recipe for it aswell. Another sweet version is nuts and you can follow the recipe of my kataifi rolls. If you want a savory version you can use halloumi and mint or mince meat 😊

    What size of dumpling cutter did you use? so I know how big they will turn out

    Hii.. Can we bake it instead of frying..

      Hi, I have never baked them before but as a guess if you do put them in the oven the pastry will harden like shortcrust pastry does when you make a pie and then soften when it gets to room temperature. Frying gives them a crispy crunch but they soften the next day too. You can bake a few and see what you think, it doesn't matter if the rest is left on the side, just put them in the fridge and if you like them bake the rest as well or fry if not.
