IF this was true (troll game is high quality) and since becoming wiser through yourself and Hambini's words, I have zero issue in supporting the local industry in Thailand / Vietnam / Malaysia / Philippines etc... Zero shame / guilt if I buy a recycled aeroplane, coke-can counterfeit. As a person who has studied design extensively, I'm super impressed by good product finish, recycling/sustainable ethos and supporting local, less fortunate communities... Gimmie quality fake anything and I'll rep them hard ;)
Would be way more worthwhile/interesting to watch if you explained at some point (the end) where it is, really, and why the locals can afford such bikes - Bangkok has it's rich folks as well as it's poor of course.

what is a replica lets be real most bike companies are a scam charging bs 15-20k for a bike with the same group sets and its not as if it will magically make you faster. if these can be replicated you know who's being scammed and the actual cost of build is more like 20% or so but this bike manufactures got greedy

Not everyone rides a phony bike with 3D printed components. Some Thais can afford to buy a bike that costs more than 3,000 USD. Due to 30% tax plus 7% vat, many top-brand official distributors in Thailand sell bikes at considerably higher prices than in the UK and America. When compared to average cyclists, Skylane cyclists are mostly wealthy.
You thought their bikes were fake just by taking a quick look and deciding that they were all fake. Why didn't you ask a few questions about the cost? Where did they get it and then go shopping undercover?

Found this after realizing that my iPods Pro were rip offs and I’ve been so paranoid about buying fake bike components from eBay that it took me until 8:40 to realize this is DurianRider trolling viewers.
How can you tell if it's a legit bike or a copy? I got tricked and bought a second hand Pinarello dogma 65.1 which looked legit, but it was a cinarello. I thought it was a good deal considering the bike was quite old (2012). Instead, It was fake unfortunately. I also spent quite some cash to buy components to make the bike lighter. What do you suggest? Should I go with the fake? Or sell it for a very low price and buy a legit bike?

Please be careful of the fumes coming off the drying resins, polymers etc. If you notice that some of the bottles had drips coming from them and so they were obviously quite a bit from setting properly and the gases coming off them are very bad bro. Much respect to you from England 🙏

Sky lane is the largest bicycle lane around the airport in Bangkok. Hw just kidding about it because it like you walk in the runway for bicycle. You can ride in the lane one way for 23.5 km and it free for both Thai people and foreigners so if you have a chance please come to visit.

Aussie humour. Just to make things clear, he was trolling the people who commented on his other video that Thais are too poor to afford expensive genuine bikes. The facility he was at isn't a factory it's a cycling park called SkylaneThailand, the track is called the Happy & Healthy Bike Lane that runs around Bangkok Suvanphumbi Airport. You pay to use the track and you can hire bikes there to go on the track if you didn't bring your own.

Are these counterfeit bikes with counterfeit "ultegra" groupsets safe to ride????? I think I got taken when I bought an Ultegra goupset off of E-bay. I never installed it. And I purchased a Shimano group from my bikeshop who gets his product from a real distributor. At least I have confindence in what I'm riding on when decending downhill at 60+ kph. Thanks for the vid, I never knew that counterfeit bike and bike parts was a thing.
