I think that for the money the Mini 2 in 2024 is the Only Drone worth buying.

ive got the mavic 2 zoom, had it since 2019 and have loved it, sometimes i think about upgrading but honestly for 99 percent of shots it does what i want.
Also i paid £1000 at the time for it, you can now pick a second hand mavic 2 zoom fly more for 400 - 500 pounds price of a playstation. The mavic 3 pro look awesome but i can easily wait for another few years for the price to come down and pick it up
That’s a fairly impressive drone for sure, how many hours have you got on it now?!
I think the value for drone is insane nowadays and as the tech improves, it will be passed down to the cheaper models so an even bigger win-win!
@@brandonkennedy plenty of hours and ive taken it with me all over the world as im a sailor!
Although on hikes i do wish i had a mini as you certainly notice the weight when your an hour or 2 into the walk.
Im looking the avata for the next upgrade just to have that unique fpv style of flying.
And i agree about the value, its created a whole new hobby, i was down at the red bridge in edinburgh and met over drone operators all geekin out.
@@gavinstuart6704 That’s epic! The mini definitely would be handy for a long hike, you barely notice it on you.
Edinburgh is one of my favourite places, and I’d love an FPV drone at some point.. although I have a feeling it isn’t as easy as it looks😂
It's my backup drone to my Air3. But I'd sell the Air3 and keep this, 249g is the sweet spot. Especially with all that's going on nowadays with RID

Is it possible to add a “Remote Identification” (RID) number in the settings as is now required by the FAA?
Yep I believe so, I tried it on mine and it prompts me to do it. These drones have to comply otherwise DJI will go out of business 😁
What app lets you follow the car which works with the mini 2??

How much is it?
Just checked DJIs website, they replaced this model with the '2 SE' and it is €289 - best to check it in your area to compare.
@@brandonkennedy The mini 2 is now called mini 4k, on amazon at €299. The mini SE doesn't have 4k video.
