I've rescued one young one from the birds and placated the birds whilst a big male crossed the roof into the shed over the past couple of days. There's been a flock of about a dozen quails hanging around during the day so I think the snakes are getting interested.
It gets the actual sun and it’s a diamond python so being in Hervey Bay is already much warmer than it’s natural climate in NSW. If you make them too hot, it can fry their brain!
