Nothing to do with wastegate just in limp mode, maybe its time you take care about your car and solve those codes you scanned.

having no rear o2 won't effect the car's performance.. just going to disable readiness and throw a code for rear o2 heater circuits and catalyst efficiency
he also probably has shitty plugs, wrong fuel grade and a shitty tune considering he is claiming 20psi blah blah
with proper parts like iridium plugs, proper tune, 91/93 gas etc etc.you name it, these cars do not give you problems
i just wish people would visit the forums and do research instead of making videos and uploading them so noobies and people who don't know cars follow the wrong info and possibly mess something up then they already have

VAG cars are very temperamental when it comes to their emissions electronics. If you are running a blow-off valve rather than a diverter valve, you will have endless problems--put the DV back on. Also, I hope you have a chip tune (though they don't do it with chips anymore) that matches the boost you're running. If you decided to just put in a manual boost valve and running 20psi, good luck with the engine. You very likely are going into limp mode from overboosting. Also, whenever you clear codes on your car, the engine should be OFF and the ignition ON. After you clear the codes, ideally you should do a throttle body adaptation (TBA) using a VAG-COM. Otherwise, turn the ignition off, wait, and turn it to ON, but do not start the engine. Wait about 40 seconds and keep your foot off the accelerator. Switch the ignition to OFF. You can now start your car normally.

Remove your engine cover on your right hand side you have 3 pipes plus a Breather Valve .its usually the case of the bottom breather pipe has been broken or came off , valve could be blocked or the hose directly underneath the valve has gone all soggy.
Replace the pipe valve and hose and your turbo will be back to its proper boost again

your clearing the code. if it comes back you still got a problem. 5psi is because the n75 valve is turning the boost down and going into limp mode. i have the same issue. nothing is physically stuck.

Bear Holmes since this video I replaced the fuel pump and the ignition switch. Since we had a huge monsoon. Now it's misfiring and flooding itself out. My car smells like gas fumes so bad. I have no idea what's going on now. Any idea?

I have a 2002 Volkswagen gti 1.8T i can hear a hiss when I start the car up. Obviously a boost leak. Feels like my car is also going into limp mode. Thinking I fucked up one of the hoses when I put a new valve cover gasket on??? Also my pcv line is cracked and split. Ppl are saying that has nothing to do with boost and only crankcase ventilation? Then others say it has to do with the boost. So she's in the garage Bc I'm going to have someone else check for leaks. Maybe the turbo seal?? Maybe vacuum lines? Don't be this kid with his Audi and just clearing the codes Bc their going to come back after he beats the hell out of it lol.

Your car is in limp mode due to other errors. Your just clearing the code to allow it to exit the limp mode.

What your actually doing is erasing the boost control code and in doing so the computer thinks everything is fine allowing the controller to allow vacuum to open and close your wastegate creating boost until it does it’s next round of checks and sees an issue and then triggers the check engine light again saying boost control has an issue and cuts it out like a safety issue but no your not doing damage to the ecu that’s the computer ... happy boosting :-)

Limp mode. Wenn you deleted the error codes your computer was out off limp mode.. logic.. gives full power again. Limp mode Protect your cars Engine from more destruction because some sensor value is not good. In your case probably o2, pcv sensor or n75..
