    This is wonderfully detailed, understandable and useful info. i purchased a Fitbit Versa 3 in 2021 for this oxygen sensor readin ability. i think however after seeing this video, i will seriously consider looking at this Beddr product. i enjoued your other video on the comparison of Fitbit Charge 3, Garmin, Loki ring oxy reader and this product. keep up great reviews!

    Sleep expert here, and I didn't know about this device! They're sold out at this time or I'd get one for evaluation. The forehead application is good because, in my experience with clients, the wrist monitors/smart watches will register arm movements as interruptions in sleep, which is often not true! Whereas, head movements are more likely indicative of a sleep disruption. Great channel! Keep up the good work!

      Their company folded and they removed their ios app from the app store so now their product is a useless waste of money. If a company sells a product that can only be used with an app dont buy it.

    It would be complete if this device adds electrical signal pickup including eye movements, EEG & ECG to accurately detect sleep stages and heart rhythm. It's position on the forehead is perfect. I wouldn't worry about the adhesive as improvisation with other double sided adhesives or just a big tagaderm over the device would work.

    I also have sleep apnea and am a bit of a data junkie. Please go check out the Bakeey E66 fitness watch. It measures body temperature, SpO2, BP, HR and does a medical grade EKG. The temp isn’t perfectly accurate, but it’s not bad. I’ve checked the SpO2 against a good finger monitor and it’s really good. The HR is accurate but the BP needs to be calibrated, so that can be done if you have a home BP monitor, which I do. Oh, and it tells time. It downloads to an app in the morning and you can see how your sleep went from a SpO2 standpoint. For just over $30 I think it’s hard to beat. Review it if you get one.

    • @JSyntax
      @JSyntax  4 года назад

      Hard to say, I'd say theyre about the same, I'd be more interested in the style you. Do you prefer the adhesive style to your head or the ring? Each has their pros and cons as you imagine. For example, the Beddr sleep tuner can fall off but has more interesting stats and if you wash your forehead to avoid oils on your head, it will likely stay put for the entire night whereas the ring can still fall off.

    • @kindface

      You probably already figured something out by now, this an old post:) But, for what its worth, you could easily use a Wyze Cam V3. About 35.00 plus the cost of a 10GB SD card to insert into it.(About 10.00) This model is not wireless, have to plug into power. So once you gather all your info you need for sleep, you'll have it to set up anywhere in your home or aim it out the window for surveillance. Download the app. Go into settings and pair it to the app then you have options in the settings, for the video to go to iCloud or have it loop onto an SD card. I use SD cards and run them on continuous. Once it fills up, it just continues rewriting over the beginning. I use these little Wyze Cams for home surveillance and have them looping on the SD card. I get several days (24 hr) on that 10 gb card before it starts rewriting over the beginning. View anytime from anywhere on the app on your phone. If I need to go back and scrub through to see an event it goes back several days. I'd had several of them for about 3 yrs now and they work great.

    Thank for your review! Since I also have sleep apnea and been looking for some watch which would track my energy level based of sleep quality, taken sleep apnea into account if possible...
    So would you recommend instead buy beddr + maybe just basic Polar (Ignite, or Vantage series after fw upgrade) watch which tracks ANS (Autonomous Nervous System) during night which sleep apnea is reported to effect, so no sleep apnea tracking but as a side effect also that taken into account. Polar also does give you nightly recharge value and takes that + training recovery information into account for recommend workouts..
    Or beddr + Basic Garmin watch maybe even FR 45 and just look the body battery level? (I do hop Garmin will enable Pulse Ox in this like Fitbit did, if just disabled like in rumors.
    Or just buy full featured watch with Pulse Ox?
    So what would be your suggestions?

    Can you use the Beddr Sleeptuner with an ANDROID?
    I read up on the gadget, ordered it, yet I now find a review that says you can only use with iOS. Is this true?

      I emailed company about my dilemma. They had not shipped my unit and notified me promptly that my order was canceled. Great customer service!
