It felt soooooo good hearing that truck start. In Jamaica we would say: " wa no dead, no call it duppy" this means that, never write something off, until you exhausted every option.

NEVER use bricks or blocks to put under jacks, They will bust and break and will cause the vehicle to fall on you and kill you! You guys have been very lucky so far.
Thank you for saving that old girl. It broke my heart when I saw the bumper was bent simply because the previous owner didn’t care enough to block it up. Excellent job.
First time watching one of your videos. You got a keeper brother! I wish my ole lady wanted to help me wrenching on my truck. All I get is "how long is this going to take and how much is it going to cost" 😆🤣
Glad that You started it with ATF. That seems to work “wonders”, most of the time. Engine sounds Great. I agree with you that’s a nice Classic to Project. Thank You for another Great Video !! H.
My father owned and drove a 1975 Freightliner WFT86 when I was very young back in the 70’s. My life revolved around my father and that truck. I remember when he would pull in the driveway after a long trip, he would hit that horn.

That old FLC120 has potential….modern FL Airliner cutoff and a 13-speed would have this in good shape! I’d want to drop the pan and check rods&mains, but that 3406 sounds healthy…..
Well I'm glad to hear the engine wasn't running away cause if it did you'd want to be far away cause the rpms get higher until the truck blows up and is a total loss
When I started at this company in ‘93 they had 84-87 FLC120 with kittys 425 turned to the hilt and 15 DO with 3.23 rears. Had a lot of fun back then. Those CAT’s all had all over a million miles on them the last I knew. Awesome ride.
I must say this was one of the best videos you did. Just a blast and good edit. See you are getting the intro and exit down. Looking forward to the next one and sure learning a thing or 4. See ya. Regards.
Always loved this style of Freightliner, I bought a 86 flc120 last year. Done alot of work still ain't close enough yet. Was in very poor shape but worth the price and time. You shouldn't have near the headache I've had. Great find and Keep us posted on this ol girl!
Looks promising. I believe in 85 that would’ve been an FLC 120 is probably a 425 being a B model. In its day that was a top of the line truck. Do a lot of cleaning fix the doors and you’ll have a pretty good reliable truck.
Before late 86 a B model wasn't a 425 without Air2Air. 87 models had A2A across the board here in 🇨🇦. I had both a 87 LTS wit a 350 A2A and a 87 FLA 120 wit a 425B A2A. Great engines. I'd have either again. This one in the video has no A2A so my thought is it's a 350 or 400 Bmodel.
