When we hear, "John David" we know our Angela means business 😂 great reaction!! The death of Jorah and Theon really upset me when I first saw this, I was hoping he would be the one to kill the night king!! The stupidest place to put the women and children was in the crypts with the dead. The Night King raises ALL of the dead. 🤦🏽♀️ This must have been Jon's idea because he knows nothing. 😂
I know a lot of people hate the fact that Arya got to kill the night King over Jon. But there were subtle hints that this is being set up in the storyline. Go back to the season seven episode where Arya sees Bran again. There is a curious expression on Bran’s face when he hands her the valerian steel dagger. As if he set something in motion that he’s already foreseen. And then look at the stare down between him and the night king. he looks at him in the eye, glances down at the exact spot that Arya is about to stab the Night King and then looks back up at him. The night King tilts his head a little bit as if to figure out what Bran is up to.
Seeing Ned be taken, seeing Rob and Catelyn get taken and suffering all that she has suffered, was all so that Arya could be in the right mindset to do that. That was what all that training was for, even though she did not know it.
