How I run my Robot Lawn Mower on DC from Solar - 1398

- I bought a new robot lawn mower just last week. I ran the old one off solar and I would like to run the new one off solar,, so we mess with this in this video.
One thing that did not make it in to the video was that I found that there was a bad connection in the wire from the solar panel (wire has been extended) there was enough connection that I saw the 18,xx volt but no amps,, after redoing the connection after the filming I also got power through.

Remember that the output voltage of the boost converter might drop when a load is added. I would recommend messuring while charing just to make sure its right :D Great video btw
Good tip! I did,, but the booster does try to get to the voltages,,, I did afterwards have to adjust the current limiter,, that was to low.

Hey Morten. What Wind-generator do you have? I'm living in middle-west of Germany and here's often more wind than sun. So I'm thinking about a solar-kit with 2x 480W panels combined with 800W sine-inverter (about 370€) and an additional wind-generator, but only if it's not too expensive.
ohh this is old,, it a 3 phase 500W,, chinese made but I got it from Germany :-) I do not have enough wind for it :-/
