    I picked up one of these for about $2 bucks, discounted discount, unwatered, uncared for and unloved. After a few weeks of sun, water and a morsel or two of plant food it exploded into a deep green bouquet of leaves and deeply red yet petite flowers. Totally unexpected. This video should help me spread some Kalancoche

    Kalanchoe’s bright blooms are the perfect way to cheer up a gloomy winter. This succulent comes in a rainbow of flowers that thrive for months, including the cold season. When not flowering, it’s a handsome plant with broad and chunky deep green leaves. And knowing how to propagate kalanchoe will help you have as many as you want!

    In two months, the anthurium and the other plant on the right didn't change a bit!!!! That's why I have trust issues with most videos on youtube!

  • @moonchild645

    So in 2 months, your other plants next to them didn't grow or change at all? Same EXACT lighting, shadows, camera placement and even dirt on the ground is in the same place.
    🤔 Hmm... weird. 😂

    So, you planted 4 different shapes of Kalanchoe leaves, but when they grew, all of them have same shape of leaves. How in the world did it happen? If I plant oak, birch and pine trees, then I would have again oak, birch and apple sprouts and even from distance they would look different

    I bought 2 plants that were blooming. After the bloom died off, my leaves fell off except for the tops and the stem grew long like hanging down and curves back up. It will follow the sun if I move it. My leaves are not at all that large. Mine are about the size of a dime or smaller. What is wrong with my plants?

    • @jonjitooker5387
      @jonjitooker5387 Год назад

      You described mine to a tee! Long and lanky, sparse leaves. I just moved it to a spot to get more light. I'm hoping that was the problem. I don't want to propagate because the leaves are so small. 😔

    Amazing!! Thank you for sharing this lesson.
    The only step I need help with is the transplanting portion from the babies (7:40) to your next scene (8:20).
    Did those babies have to be really CUT away from the mother leaf in the transplant process??

    • @HomeGardening

      Thank you for watching!
      For the first time, you can leave babies as they are, don't need to cut them off from the leaf

      So... I can transplant by lifting the baby and the mother leaf together??
      Does the mother leaf stay and maybe wither away??

    I have a leaf which rooted while laying atop the soul. Then i planted the leaf. It has been planted for a couple of months and it appears to be healthy. But it has not made any "babies". Is it possible that the leaf is just not going to propagate even though it does seem healthy?
