    For the ones asking the same stuff that I was asking to myself: "Tochinoshin Tsuyoshi (born 13 October 1987 as Levan Gorgadze) is a Georgian professional sumo wrestler from Mtskheta. He is a member of the Kasugano stable and made his professional debut in March 2006. He reached the top makuuchi division just two years later in May 2008. After a long hiatus due to injury, he began his comeback from the rank of makushita 55 in March 2014, logging four championships in a row in lower divisions on his way back to the top division in November 2014. He has eleven special prizes, six for Fighting Spirit, three for Technique, and two for Outstanding Performance, as well as two kinboshi or gold stars for defeating yokozuna. In January 2018 he took his first top-division yūshō. In May 2018, after finishing as runner-up with a 13-2 record and a total of 37 wins in his last three tournaments, he was promoted to ōzeki. He was demoted to sekiwake after posting losing records in the first two tournaments of 2019, but returned to ōzeki after winning ten matches at the May 2019 basho."

      @@FreedomForever2010 He withdrew from the July tournament after five straight losses, citing knee and shoulder injuries. In September he managed only six wins and was demoted from ōzeki for the second time. He withdrew from the November tournament on Day 5 after fracturing a rib. This ended his hopes of winning ten bouts and making an immediate return to ōzeki, and he dropped to maegashira (the lowest of five ranks in the top division) for the January 2020 tournament.
      His record as a maegashira has been more losses than wins.

      No, they behave in the tradition of sumo wrestling. He is the outsider bringing unnecessary new behavior, even if it looks friendly. Would you say the same if he was also giving them a hug on their way out ? This sport is full of tradition, this is why rikishi (sumo wrestlers) behave in a very specific way before and after the fight.

    • @Bullshlaha
      @Bullshlaha 3 года назад +19

      If you really ARE looking for an explanation - here it is:
      While normally we think of body fat as just a layer of isolation located between the muscle and the skin, there is also visceral fat. Visceral fat is located in the abdominal area. Women have predominantly more celulitus, men have predominantly more visceral fat. The difference between visceral fat and normal fat is, that the visceral fat is actually UNDERNEATH the muslces. In some people this can cause a thinner layer of fat on top of the abs, and a bigger layer of visceral fat under the abs, not only making the person's appearance quite fat, but also pushing the abs fron underneath resulting in more pronounced abdominal muscles. Of course those abs do need to be trained, but you can generally be quite fatty and still look muscular. You can see this among the top strongmen competitors as well, despite most being more than 25-30% bodyfat.

    Tochinoshin Tsuyoshi (栃ノ心 剛史, born 13 October 1987 as Levan Gorgadze, Georgian: ლევან გორგაძე) is a professional sumo wrestler from Mtskheta, Georgia. In January 2018 he took his first top-division yūshō (championship). In May 2018, after finishing as runner-up with a 13-2 record and a total of 37 wins in his last three tournaments, he was promoted to ōzeki. He was demoted to sekiwake after posting losing records in the first two tournaments of 2019, but returned to ōzeki after winning ten matches at the May 2019 basho.[2
