THE FIRST TIME I HEARD OLETA I KNEW SHE WAS A GIFT NEVER EVER HEARD A SONG FROM THIS ANGEL THAT DIDNT RADIATE HER ABILITY TO NAIL THE MESSAGE OF LOVE AND TRUE MEANING POINTING OUT FEELINGS AND HOW TO EXPRESS THEM SUCH AN ELEGANT LADY NOT TO MENTION HER STELLAR PIANO PLAYING SHE IS IRREPLACEABLE I LOVE MY SISTER OLETA ADAMS :)
Oh Dear, I just cried like a baby listening to this !!! My sister sent me the link knowing how much I love Oleta Adams voice and this song. Grew up listening to this and used to sing along all the time. I remember that station in Detroit too ! Those were the days !! Wish I could go back :'(
I remember listening to this song on WJZZ Jazz 106 in Detroit. Rosetta Hines played this song and it reminds me of the good old days. Middays in Detroit is not the same without her. Rosetta Hines was the greatest DJ's in Detroit and added the perfect flow of Jazz and R&B to get us through the day. I will always remember her.
Met her in person and believe me she is just as beautiful and captivating in person,,,so down to earth and friendly,,,,also hugely underrated,,,,you cant help but love her,,,
WJZZ and Rosetta will always have a special place in my deepest being. Thanks for sharing your memories of a sweet lady and a great radio station.Made me smile
Thankss alot Oleta, You have no idea how you helped with my dissertation, with your music in the background, the idea continuously drifted in like waves.
I just want to be the one you need I’ll do anything for you. I want to be the only to share all your dreams And smile as they come true. What a lyric….
I remember this song from 4th grade. This played a lot of the way to school. Every time this song plays I think about my baloney/ham sandwiches in my lunchbox. I know. Weird. O_O Love this woman.
