She doesn't Ned those braids. They're taking black women's hair out at the hairline. Too many are losing their hair wearing those tight braids. And it won't grow back because they pull your hair from the roots.

Black people didn't get much honors and awards. The fact that they did great narrative expertise on the particular artists, goes to show this ceremony is a very extravagant event!..dnt like how some of dnt do their parts in singing songs exactly like the artist, yet most do amazing jobs! So laid back an refreshing it is to see music in this era! Keep it cumn for yrs to come!❤

I play her album when I am going through change of any kind, moving, new job, just completed an exam, and even solo traveling ....I have never figured out why except perhaps her soothing voice. You just know everything is going to be okay when you hear Oletha Adams. I am grateful to Tears for Fears for believing in her.

My Girl!!! bout time she was recognized, although it was in 2017 that was still late for this dynamic vocalist and songwriter. Avery Sunshine should have done the whole tribute, Leela James tried but not quite, Latice Crawford totally rearranged one of my favorite Oleta songs. Sincere thanks Oleta and if you ever make a performing visit to New Zealand, I would try to be in the audience.
