great video!!! seeing what you could fit into the bag (especially including water bottle and umbrella) really helped me make my decision on the bellroy lite sling :) thank you!
Hey thanks, great question. I just tried putting that blue wallet (the alpaka zip pouch) into the 2.5L front pocket but its too big to fit vertically or horizontally but it does fit in the main compartment with ease
Hey thanks, I just measured the inside of the bag, and I would say that it might fit but could be a slightly tight fit, I dont have one to test, so if you can Id try it in person first
I am planning to do individual reviews of each of the slings yeah. I did compare the non-eco 6L. The main difference is the strap, the eco strap is elastic and doesnt have a detachable magnet
I ended up ordering the Ecopak version and have to say I don’t like the look of the fabric. It’s weird and while smooth, it’s kind of wavy. It’s hard to explain but I’d prefer the standard lite version I think.
Is that the Alpaka Element Tech case in the regular size? You mentioned its 2.1L? I am trying go figure out how it compares to the Ready 2.5…and see how the 2.5 compares to the Alpaka Element Tech mini…Can’t find anything
@@PackingLess The khaki 6L bag that you are presenting as Venture 6L...are you sure its the Venture 6L? Because the Venture has organizational pockets in the center space and does not have the little thing for the clip on the front...and it does not come in that color. @@sharonramirez6665 it is the Venture 6L but its the ecopak edition that has some slight differences than the non-eco version. It also has a nonclipping bungee style strap which is different than the other non-eco colours.
@@sharonramirez6665 hey I just checked the website, you’re right they have stopped selling the ecopak version. I think it depends what you'll use it for. If you often carry larger items then the 6L is more versatile but the 2.5 is really great for emptying your pockets into it and a few extra items
I was confused by Bellroy sling category recently, this video makes thing more easier! One of my need is that I usually want to carry my kindle paperwhite. The size is 4.9" x 6.9". Does the 2.5L and 4L fit ? Thank you.
Does the bronze color look good in person? Thinking of getting the venture ready sling and most of my bags are in black, wanted to get something different yet I’m afraid I’ll regret it after lol
Can you recommend me the most compact and beautiful bag for iPad Mini 6 (as well as future iPad Mini 7) I found the Black Ember Kompak also suitable, but it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing and doesn't hold an iPad with a protective case
Hi. I have a sony alpha 6400 and with a sigma 18-50 f2.8 (which is tiny, surely smaller than a bottle of water). I just purchased the lite sling mini (which should be 4L), from your video looks like the camera would fit in there nicely. I previously had a 3L sling and the camera couldn't just fit, just for a little bit. Do you think I'll be fine with the lite sling mini? I really don't care about carrying other stuff, main reason I got it is to carry my camera.
I just had a look on this camera size comparison site ( pxlmag.com/db/camera-size-comparison/feb6b053_8785adb2-2d458a8b_358bafd3-t60 ) I have been able to (only just) fit my sony a7c with 20mm 1.8 in the lite sling 4L with not much room for anything else. And it seems your setup is slightly smaller so you should have no problems :)
Which of these would be the slimmest and do the best of staying compressed and high up on your chest? I just want to carry a phone, keys, wallet, and glass or AirPods on occasion . The last sling I had kept sliding down to the side and always felt awkward and bulky even when I only had those things in it. Thanks!
I think the Lite sling might be the most compressible one because of the materials but all of them stayed pretty well on my shoulders without moving around much.
The only real main difference is the fabric and the strap, the Eco strap doesnt have a detachable magnet and has elastic in it to make it a bit more stretchy.
@@kenta486 I like the eco fabric, but the eco pack version actually replaces the normal strap with a magnetic clasp for one that is elastic and doesnt have a clasp. So I personally wouldn't recommend the eco version just get the regular ones unless you like a bungee type of strap without a magnet
I have both in front of me right now, trying to decide which to keep. The venture ecopak 6l is actually much closer to the lite 7l than the venture 6l. The exterior dimensions are identical to the lite. It is essentially the lite with a sunglasses pocket and a bungee strap.
Hi! I just came across this video while researching the ecopak vs standard size lite. What is your height? This would give me a better idea of how it would look on my 5 ft 7 in frame. Can you fit headphones in the lite mini? What headphones are uou using? Thank you
Hi! I appreciate the reply. I am leaning towards the Ecopak. Do you feel that the Zipper for the front pocket is somewhat of a hassle to open? How well does the ecopak material repel water? Any signs of wear and tear since you owned it? Any complaints regarding the bungee like shoulder strap? Any stains on the Ecopak material since you owned it? @@asahit190 Youre welcome :) To be honest I havent used it much so I cant say whether it picks up scuffs or not or about water repellency.
