How do you keep your curly hair from being frizzy I have a similar hair type and as soon as I scrunch out the crunch or go outside I have frizz and it feels dry
A good moisture - protein balance! Make sure your products have some protein in them as well as moisture. Also doing a protein treatment every 3 weeks or so! I find that mousse really helps prevent frizz as well!💖😘
Sonya Alsaigh I personally apply them in the shower on wet hair like conditioner and leave them on for the time stated on the container! so usually like 10-30 min!💜😊 There are some masks that say to apply on dry hair so I would just follow the instructions on the packaging!
How do you know if your hair needs protein or not? Because i know that over doing it with protein is bad for the hair. Im trying to figure out whats wrong with ny hair.. it never curls at the crown and its always frizzy no matter what.
Great question! The thing with protein is that everyone’s hair is different. Everyone needs a moisture-protein balance but what that looks like is different for everyone! For me my hair lovessss protein so I can use it in all my products. If it’s frizzy you might need more protein. As for the roots it might just be your natural curl pattern or they you might need some layers to lighten your hair up!💕 hope this helps you out! I’ll be making a whole video on protein and moisture balance soon so stay tuned!😊😘
I think I’m going to go with the Jamaïcain black castor oil hair mask.. can I use that every week like on my wash day? Also.. how do I know if my hair need more protein or moisture? My hair is like yours but I have more hair than u lol
I leave them on as long as instructed on the packaging! And for the most part I usually do it after shampooing but there’s definitely some times that I do it before!🙂
Interesting… I’ve been using their products for almost 2 years now and never had any issues. Of course everyone’s hair is different so what may work for me, may not work for you. Do you have any facts (articles, etc.) to back up this information?
@@DewyBellaCurls yeah i have this app called think dirty and when i looked up the shes moisture mask it showed the same ingredient as the devacurl line
@@juliatelesforo oh, so unfortunately that all is not backed by science and completely inaccurate! It’s based on fear mongering and they take money from brands to rank their products higher. They don’t have a good understanding of the science behind ingredients and rank products “dirty“ for no reason at all. So definitely not a reliable source unfortunately.
Any product can cause hair issues if it’s not meant for your hair or your hair just doesn’t like it. So I totally understand and I’m sorry that it didn’t work out well for you love.
If you're sensitive to fragrance, the Shea Butter & Manuka Honey mask has a very strong fake tropical scent. It was overpowering for me.
Interesting! I find it to not have much fragrance but of course everyone’s difference!
Which one is better for dry damaged colored hair..PL reply
Can you please make a video of how you do your once a week deep conditioning please xox your hair rocks
Sure! It’s definitely something I plan on filming soon!!💕 thank you!!😘😘😘
