love this channel. how do you only have 45k subs? I am craving a burger now lol
I don't think YT is a big fan. They control the reach of videos. It is what it is... Thanks!
❤. The Best Burgers in LA are My Copy’s of Your Copy’s 😂😂. Your The Cheese Burger God 🏆. Thank You So Much 😊. Cheers 🥂
LOL! Thanks, Mike! The wife and I buzzed up to Father's Office the other day on a quick turn-and-burn. I'll be shooting that next week.
Sensational burger. Made these tonight and they are outerageous. Small changes (dutch mayo, seeded buns, regular thin smash), but still a flavor powerhouse. This sauce dude 😊😊😊...so simple but 100% in yer face flavor...
This burger is rigged
Nice! -- Another "smashing success" and sauce is the boss. 👌😃🍔
Cheers, Chuck!
Love the burger 🍔 😋 looks great I I do have a request I seen all your videos on burgers but I would like to see you make a chicken burger like to see what you do with that thanks
Thank you Tony! I'll see what I can come up with.
I am now knocking burgers out of box because of your videos. So awesome. Thank you.
That is awesome! Thanks for the comment!
Now that burger looks absolutely amazing, simple, but man those edges. Nice work! Cheers
That IS gold!😄Greg, you’re always bringing it. Love this one and I can see a squeeze bottle of that sauce in my fridge already. Thanks brother!
We’re glad you discovered this place too!
Thank you, Gary!
Made it Greg. Got a squeeze bottle of sauce in the fridge. Really good 😛
Hey Greg, been a subscriber of yours for many years now. Sorry off topic question here, but I was just down in San Diego last week for a couple days in an area called Del Mar. Couple miles from Torrey Pines. Curious about how far away are you from there?
Keep up the great videos and recipes.
Except for the sauce this is basically the same as an Oklahoma onion burger that's been around in Okla since the 1920's. The burger looks delicious 😋
Very similar, but not the same amount of onion. I've been to both Sid's and Roberts and love a good Onion Burger!
The sauce seems like it would be awesome. I would take things a step further by roasting my own garlic.
Approximately what temp is that griddle when you put the meat on?
Never seen you eat an entire burger while still filming!! . Must be good.
Would Dijon mustard also work for the sauce?
You need to copy the Boerne TX. version of the Goldburger 'ala CompadresHill Country Cocina....this looks absolute killer though!
I'll check them out! Hoping to visit Texas soon.
More Videos about how to Do burgers, like what to Look out for, how to Do it right, how to get a feel when to flip, stuff like that.
👍
I can do a 👍 even before watching 😀
LOL! Thank you, Bill!
For 1/20 of the cost
Exactly! Thanks for watching, Mike.
Awesome, I've noticed you've been doing a lot of LA burgers lately. What are the chances we see you do a Billionaire Burger Boys copycat?
I'll get it on the list. I haven't been there yet, but we drive up to LA a few times a year to visit cool places to eat. Thanks for the suggestion!
We had a great burger in Victoria, BC at Big Wheel on Cook Street. It wasn't a thin smash burger but it had a fantastic crust. Unfortunately they were so busy I couldn't do any intel gathering, but it was so good it was the only place I visited twice last week.
I have a buddy that lives in Victoria. I'll see if I can get some info on that burger.
Love the Lemmy’s Lounge shirt! The Rainbow is my favorite bar!
We love The Rainbow as well. Took my son there for his 21st a couple weeks ago.
Men look at this video and yell "Hell yeah!"
LOL! Appreciate your checking it out!
Hey Greg, Great video! Your attention to detail is amazing. This burger will become a staple at my house.
Thank you, Davis! Cheers, brother!
THIS CHANNEL DESERVES WAY MORE SUBS
That sauce looks tasty
Thank you! Simple, yet good!
Watching smash the way you did got my mouth full of water, thats the stuff!!! man i would love one right now :)
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
This suggestion might sound ponci but what about tagine recipes for your other channel?
I do not, but I like think it's a great idea. Thank you!
The edges look heavenly.
Just curious as to how much practice it took to get this technique down? Thanks, great video.
It only took two burgers to get it down. Great question!
my new technique for smash burgers-very cool!
It is pretty cool. Cheers!
I live in Mt Washington, imagine my surprise to find that there's a Goldburger in Highland Park 1.9 miles away, time to sample their burger.
There's a Gold Star in Mt. Washington. There are only two Goldburger locations and they're in the LA area.
@@BallisticBurgersGold Star Burger is actually in the city of Glendale on South Brand Blvd. The other Goldburger is in the Los Feliz area on North Vermont Ave.
keep it up man love ur videos !
Can u try the arch deluxe from McDonald's
It's on my list!
That looks pretty darn good! Just got a flat top and this will be one of the inaugural cooks
Hope you enjoy!
Since I started watching your videos, I've been taking burgers to a new level.Tonight is a combo of venison and pork with "American" Swiss with chimichurri.
Check out the Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls Texas.
They've been around since 1929.
They make a hamburger that has an 8 ounce patty and a double meat that is 1 pound for basically the same price as the fast food garbage.
I've eaten there on and off all my life.
Space music and pickles
This makes me so hungry. You have gained my subscribe. I so wish i could afford to make and feed my family these burgers but unfortunately I am broke and cant afford to keep the lights on. God bless buddy
That looks delicious and I'm not even a pickle fan! But I have to make another comment. I understand the goal in making a smashburger. But turning the meat into a paper thin paste that's smeared on the grill is taking a good thing too far. You can get that crispy edge goodness without having to do that. Just my opinion! The wonderful thing about burgers is there's a million ways to make one and none of them are wrong!
Thank you for the comment. If you didn't like this technique, stand by for my next copycat video, Scott!
@BallisticBurgers I can't wait!
I can do that! I will do that.
What I am curious about is what burgers you cook for a backyard cook out.
It depends. If I'm cooking on the flattop, I'll take requests. If someone wants a smash burger, that's what they'll get. I usually whip up a couple different sauces and let them choose the toppings.
When are you going to release a book on all these burgers and sauces?
I've been working on a book, it's just slow going. I'll get it done though!
Looks amazing!
The J.A. Burger at Lupe’s Burritos in East L.A. on 3rd street! 😎
Watching these videos before dinner is dangerous for my waistline.
Motorhead!!!!!!
You and I use the BEST garlic paste on the market.⬅
I just told a guy today at Walmart the same thing as I picked some up. Their cilantro is phenomenal as well.
@@robertaltman3801 I do what Julia Child did. She told Larry King, "Cilantro? If I see any, I throw it on the floor."
Is that a skull in the background?
So, our backyard has a tiki/jungle cruise thing going on. Tikis, floats and such. That skull is painted to look like the ones you see on The Jungle Cruise.
Lovely. Enjoy your videos!
Thank you!
Love the multiple angles of the “smash”
agreed, this was great
Thumbs up, bro. And concerning Lemmy's Lounge... we are all the same.
Cheers!
I like the contrast of that burger. The crust is so awesome, and there is a nice centre. Cheers, Greg! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🍔
That's what I like about it as well. Cheers, Dwayne!
I knew from all your videos that you were a great person, but that shirt leaves no doubt ! And of course, that burger with the smashing technique looked fantastic. A simple, well thought and well constructed burger. Thanks for the content !
LOL! So, I did a Lemmy tribute burger on my other channel about six years ago, you may want to see. ruclips.net/video/DaNjy9fCANA/видео.html. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely love the Motörhead T-shirt.
And the burger recipe was damn good as well!!
Thanks!
Great burger and T- shirt
Thank you, Mike!
That must be oozing with flavor Greg! Thanks! - Cheers!f
It was! Cheers, Garry!
That looks pretty fantastic! Nice work as always my friend! I'd never have considered smashing the outer edges and leaving the center a bit thicker. Brilliant
Thanks, Adam! Hope all is well in OK, brother!
Cannot wait to watch this one Greg!
Hope you’re well mate!
Love from down under! 🇦🇺
Cheers! Thank you for stopping by!
4:24 the lost onion 😢
RIP.
Great burger! Best of both world with the thicker center and crispy edges👍😊
Thanks for watching Bobbi! Cheers!
Love the shirt.
Thank you!
Was planning on making burgers tomorrow evening, trying this one!!!
It's worth trying, Paul!
Wow! You get such great results on the flat top and the smasher works well! Beautiful smash Greg!
Thank you Stephen!
Love this smash technique - will try!
Thanks for watch'n!
Love that shirt!! 🤘🤘
Thank you, Randy! We celebrated mine and my son's birthdays at the Rainbow a couple weeks ago. Toasted Lemmy while we were there.
That's awesome!! Jack and Coke! 🤘🤘
That is an incredible looking burger!
Thank you, Greg!
Absolutely delicious looking
Thank you, Ira!
Greg that looks so good!
Thank you, Tommie!
Fantastic!! Only thing I would change is to add some pickled jalapeños. Thanks Greg!! 👍
I'm sorry but there's nothing to love about a crunchy burger.
That's why we have different flavors of ice cream as well.
Looks good…. But way too much sauce.
That's a ruined burger with edges no more edges...
Meanwhile, Goldburger is making bank. Someone likes them!
@@BallisticBurgers people have different tastes, that's fine, but so thin makes moisture runs away and no juice anymore...
Hi Greg, it's Mike Florence and I trust you and your good lady are well. I really enjoyed this video. The Smashburger you demo so clearly is really exceptional for anyone who has already been cooking Smashburgers. GREAT NEW TECHNIQUE. I'm gonna practice this with a view to serving some up at my garden party next weekend. And that simple looking sauce is probably going to be really tangy. Thanks for yet ANOTHER OUTSTANDING Burger recipe. Cheers for now Greg, Mike.
Thank you kindly, Mike! Cheers, brother!
