Yes they are brothers. The oldest is Barry, the other 2 are his twin brothers. They also had a baby brother that was a singer too, but he died young in the 80s. Only one left is Barry.

Love the Bee Gees. They are 3 brothers (Barry-Maurice-Robin) Gibb. They had a younger brother Andy who could also sing. Sadly only Barry is left of his 4 brothers. I especially like their early stuff from the 60's-70's such as "Spicks & Specks", "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody", "Holiday", "Massachusetts", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Lonely Days", "I Started A Joke", "Melody Fair", "First of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.
I love their early stuff too. Was a teen in the '60's.
Barry Gibbs is the oldest, Maurice & Robin Gibbs come next & are twins. Their baby brother, Andy Gibbs was also a good singer. He committed suicide, unfortunately. All have passed away except for Barry.
@@lauriemccomas1578 - Andy Gibb did NOT commit suicide. It is wrong and unkind to his family to say that. He had previous drug problems, particularly cocaine, which weakened his heart. As a result he was susceptible to a virus which caused myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart, and his subsequent death. Upon his death he was clean with no drugs in his system having completed rehab a while previously and DID NOT commit suicide. In fact, in the ambulance he asked his mother "Can I die from this?" He had been staying with his brother Robin in Thame, Oxfordshire, a small town where he would be away from drugs. He collapsed in Robin's home and died 3 days later. Please do not make comments when you do not have the facts. PS, it's Gibb, not Gibbs.
And only one is alive today, Barry living in Miami, Fla.
My father always played the Beegees for me while I was growing up in the 80s and 90s and I can STILL hear Massachusetts echoing in my head hehe.
Their final album was good too. This Is Where I Came In is a great song.

Of all the music I listened to as a teen at home in the 60s and early 70s, Hendrix, Joplin, Marvin Gaye, Queen, and so many others I've forgotten!. The Bee Gees were the only band I wouldn't get told to 'turn down the boom boom machine!' Their harmony is impeccable. Anyone who appreciates music can hear that.

Too much heaven is great, you should be dancing also. There's a video of Barry at 9 yrs old and the twins (Robin and Maurice) at 6 yrs old singing alexanders ragtime band on tv. They were amazing even then

They are British born but grew up in Australia then as o!Red teenagers they convinced their parents to move back to England to have a shot at real fame! Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 1997. Songwriters Hall of Fame 1994. Over 1000 songs, 24 + albums, 100 top 20 hits. Only Barry is still around. His latest albums were out in 2016 and 2021.
It is a treat to see the joy that you get out of music. The Bee Gees were everywhere in my teens. "Fanny", "Nights on Broadway", Jive Talkin' and How Do You Mend (A Broken Heart) to name a few more. Thank you for sharing your musical journey.

Check out the youngest Gibb brother, Andy. His career was way too short but one of his biggest hits was "You should be dancing ". I think that is the song that best gives you the Gibb vibe.
Barry, the eldest brother, and the lead singer is an amazing songwriter. He has written songs for most of the big names for over 50 years now. Too bad, they are all gone but Barry. RIP Maurice, Robin, and little brother Andy.
@MyOwnDrum - ALL THREE were amazing songwriters. Almost ALL of the Bee Gees songs were written by Barry AND Robin or by all three including most of the songs they wrote for other artists. Robin and Maurice also wrote for Robin's 7 solo albums. Too many people have the impression that Barry wrote everything and that discredits his equally talented brothers which is sad.
They are three brothers out of four from the same family the give family there is a fourth brother who had a solo career and his name is Andy Gibb you might want to try some of his songs he was very very popular back in the '70s.

They are brothers. Barry the tall one and Mo and Robin are twins. They have been in the music business for 50 years. Sadly the twins have since passed away Mo in 2003 and Robin in 2012
These are the Gibb Brothers. Barry the oldest is the lead in this song, twins Maurice & Robin are shown here, and little brother Andy joined later on. Barry is the only surviving brother.

You can NEVER go wrong with The Bee Gee's. They have written some of the most amazing songs. They definitely know how to put a love song together. Another great one you should react to is " Fanny (Be Tender)". One of my favorites of their songs. They have written hundreds of songs for other artists as well. The only one left, sadly, is Barry ( the lead singer). He is also the eldest of the brothers. They also had a younger brother named Andy Gibb that had an amazing solo career. He never was in their group though because they were already well established in their musical career, and Andy was much younger than them. He was my teen crush. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 30 in 1988.
Don't forget that the lead was often shared by Barry and Robin as they did in this song. They sang the lead together here. Often Robin sang the lead and on occasion so did Maurice.

Been singing together since the twins could talk. Brothers Barry oldest, Robin and Maurice 3 years younger. Andy another 10 years younger. 13 years between Andy and Barry. Andy was set to join them and less than a month later, Andy died from myocarditis.

Their brothers. Barry is the oldest, Robin and Maurice ( pronounced Morris) are 3 years younger and are fraternal twins. They were all born on the Isle of Man ( an island between the U K and Ireland).

You could say they’re kinda tight with each other! They’re all actually brothers....Barry Gibbs, Robin Gibbs, and Maurice Gibbs! There was a younger brother who also sang really well named Andy Gibbs, who (at least once that I remember) sang with them, but he usually had a solo career.

Although Barry was the eldest brother and the lead singer on most of their later songs, in the earlier period, Robin (the twin with all the hair) was the lead singer on a number of songs, notably "I Started A Joke".
But yes, born to sing together. I don't know if anyone else mentioned this (I might have missed it), but "Bee Gees" is short for "Brothers Gibb".

I remember the day my late relative died. We all gathered at the house, and I remember walking outside and sitting in my 1963 Volkswagen bug which is a Herbie Replica. I remember sitting there in the pouring rain listening to this song inside Herbie and sobbing until I fell asleep in the gravel driveway.

Bee Gee - B. G. stands for Brothers Gibb. They are brothers. The lead singer, Barry is the only one still living. The other two are Maurice and Robin. They had a younger brother Andy who was also a great singer. He died when he was only 30.
Growing up we couldn't get enough of their music. We loved it! Being born in 68' I got to listen to a lot of great music growing up as it came out. Lol yeah, I know that makes me OLD! Six years and I'll be 60! Not sure if you know yet, but they are brothers. The only surviving member of the Bee Gees, Barry Gibb, says he sometimes "hears and sees" his late brothers. Robin died in 2012 aged 62, nine years after his twin Maurice. The youngest Gibb brother - Andy - died of a heart attack aged 30 in 1988.

I’m so glad I ran across your reaction vids. I started with the Elvis videos because I’ve been a lifelong fan but I was so happy to see you also have BeeGees vids too! As a younger person I have always been a fan of music before my time & I’m so glad I’m not alone. The BeeGees voices & harmonies are so smooth they almost sound like an instrument themselves. It’s no surprise they are made up of brothers. BTW they had a younger brother Andy Gibb who had several solo hits of his own, check out “I Just Want to Be Your Everything”.

The Gibb brothers stayed Brits and only became internationally famous when they returned to their homeland after only 9 years in Australia. John Farnham, Olivia Newton John and some members of AC/DC, all Brit born. We gave Australia all these stars, mind you, the Bee Gees were only on loan to Australia, but what did Australia give us? Kylie and Rolf Harris. INXS was Australia 's greatest international band but they were only a one hit wonder here in the UK.
British pop music is phenomenonal and international. Aussie music generally stays in Australia.

As a teenager back in the late 70s digging on the BeeGees would get your masculinity questioned. But I grew both as a fan and a man. At 6'4 they only question my ability to sing falsetto ✌
The Bee Gees were three brothers who were amazing singers with perfect harmony, brilliant songwriters and all three had a wicked good sense of humor. The one thing I wouldn't call them is players. They were all about family and when they toured they took their families with them (parents, wives, kids) and the world loved them. Many of us still do. Recommend Too Much Heaven.
They did all the music in the movie Saturday Night Fever in the 70's, freakin fantastic, The Bee Gees are all brothers, there was a younger brother that died right as he was entering the music industry....
