    Everytime I ate toolum as a child, there was always a rainbow in the sky. A fond memory from my childhood back home.

    I just put all ingredients in a cast iron pot and cook until it comes together stickey. Then i let it cool in the pot and while still warm take table spoonful at a time and form into balls. Yummy. Great recipe too thanks.

    Lordy! my favourite snack of all time..when I was pregnant with my son I used to crave this and we got it by the bag.. (that was 40yrs ago) wrapped in paper. I never lost the taste for it 😊

    Nice and easy recipe. I noticed you used spatulas. Such a great kitchen tool to scrape every last bit from the pot. Wish more cooks would use them.

    Looks great. Do you by chance know if either coconut sugar or palm sugar would work in a recipe like this?

    • @TriniCookingwithNatasha
      @TriniCookingwithNatasha  7 лет назад +1

      gk891 sure do you know how it melts? does it melt the same way as reg sugar? if it does yes it work.

    made it but it came out like sugar cake 😊😊. I think I cooked it too long because it became quite heavy in the pot. It tasted great though

      Karmini Parsan did you add water to it?

    • @karminiparsan4440
      @karminiparsan4440 7 лет назад

      Trini Cooking with Natasha ...no I didn't add water but I think I let it cook down too much. I should have taken it off when it was softer. I like the taste though. Looking at the video again and I am sure it wasnt soft like yours

    • @TriniCookingwithNatasha
      @TriniCookingwithNatasha  7 лет назад

      Karmini Parsan yes maybe that's y because the sugar will start to crystallize
