For some reason Shaunae is a very distasteful athlete, i think she acted overly confident throughout this season. But then seeing that Naser was suspended, I don’t even know what to think. I’m rooting for neither at this point even though both are undeniably incredible. I’m ready to see McLaughlin enter the 400 flat scene, and I’d love to see Shericka come back after perfecting her short sprinting. Mboma will be scary to watch if she ever ends up running over 400 in a major championship. 2023 will be interesting with McLaughlin switching, Naser’ ban ending, and not knowing whether Shaunae is actually done with the event. All very interesting. Just imagine a 400 final with Miller-Uibo, Naser, Mboma, Paulino Muhammad, McLaughlin, Mu, Jackson, and Bol😳
Mboma is banned from distances 400m-1500m because she is biologically male. Better hope she doesn't smash the 200m record or else she'll be banned from track altogether.
Mboma is banned for life 400m shericka is more short sprints now but still would contend . Of all the people you mentioned the one that could take them all if she tries is Mu!!! She’s is once in a life time talent and unbeatable hungry and healthy in my opinion. If she works on her 400 she can beat them all she’s unbeatable over 800. Will be interesting to see how good McLaughlin can be too. Nasser I rule out .
I have always disliked Miller. Both her diving, attitude and stupid hair. McLaughlin is spectacular, but I dislike that she rarely shows up. I hope Salwa wins in Paris.

I think with the benefit of hindsight I still see Miller Uibo’s run as legitimate. Others who seem to have it are Michael Norman ( although he didn't show it so much in this championship ) and L Santos (DR). She was outstanding here!
Coleman also missed his drug test before the championship but he wasn't banned for 2 years like Salwa Eid Naser. Maybe because Coleman is an American and Salwa is not. 🤡

Weird to see people pretend she came out of nowhere when she'd been running well since she was a teenager and was the 2017 silver medallist. Her improvement isn't even all that astonishing if you look at her progression and Miller-Uibo's. The missed tests do throw a cloud over her, but two of those seem to have been through no fault of hers.
Exactly. She had been running sub 50s in the Diamond league where she was unbeaten for a while. And if you look at those runs you can tell she had more in the tank, same as SMU.
you can cut it anyway you want. to miss 3 consecutive mandatory out of competition drug tests prior to 2019 world championship was bad enough, and to miss 1 after this competition is unforgiveable. so you are talking about missing 4 consecutive tests. the only reason that she's allowed to run in this competition is because the rule allows you to miss 2 consecutive drug tests in the span of 18 months. when she missed the 3rd drug test, it was outside the 18 month window.

@@sharifashikuzzamanrafi2536True! 48.97 to 48.37 is a 0.6 improvement from the previous year. But idk that’s still a lot less than 0.94. A lot of PBs were set in Doha because of how fast the track was. I might also just be biased because of how Naser’s run was so unexpected.
I think with the benefit of hindsight I still see Miller Uibo’s run as legitimate. She’s had no controversies and her best times each year have fluctuated since, 50.52 in 2020, 48.36 in 2021, and 49.11 in 2022
