    Listened to an alledged "retired" naval officer speak at a Memorial Day event last year. He explained to the public how the waterways were being openned in the arctic and civilians would be able to take beautiful cruises over the top of the earth...WHAT???
    I wondered how many people in the audience quietly questioned this player's military propaganda or are just sheep?
    I wonder how many citizens across the globe take offense to this recklessness and will act to protect & restore our planet we call "Home".

    The sad truth is the USA could have completely switched to 100% renewable energy for the cost of the forever oil wars in the middle east. But instead we spend nearly 1 trillion dollars a year on our military budget which hides tanks in foreign countries to fight more oil wars. It is time to end the olargacry control by the ff industry and pass the green new deal switching the USA to 100% local renewable energy.

    I just can't help thinking this is all such an enormous waste of time, money and resources by both sides. Defense by one side can look like offence to the other requiring further rounds of escalation and expense. I'm sure the military industry is very happy on both sides though. Meanwhile, the vast majority of us just want peace. Don't think those in charge are listening or maybe even don't want to listen to us, just to vested interests whispering in their ears. So we all get pulled into a world war because some people just wont sit down and talk. Bloody infuriating.

    NATO hosted a conference on the "High North" eleven years ago. The plan is to confront Russia at the top of the world. The Arctic will be used for U.S.-NATO first-strike so-called interceptor missile strategy. For those preoccupied with energy concerns while overlooking the military aspects, the other sources of new oil/gas are the Gulf of Guinea (hence AFRICOM) and the Caspian Sea (NATO's Partnership for Peace, Pompeo's recent visit to Kazakhstan)....The Norwegian fellow is well-meaning, but does he really not know of the
    Værnes Air Station, the Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) in Stavanger, the huge Marine Corps Prepositioning Program-Norway in caves near Trondheim, etc.? They've been there for decades.

    I wish countries was replaced by "country's governments" as in the the American government feels threatened, the Russian government feel threatened, North Korean government feels threatened, because the people of the country's tend to be threatened by their own governments firstly. I do not fear any country more than I fear my own country's government. how about you ?

    • @SilkyJonson
      @SilkyJonson 4 года назад +1

      North Korea's people definitely feel threatened after the last conflict with the US. I mean you guys did wipe out roughly 3 million people (approximately 30% of the countries overall population), 10% of which were civilians. carpet bombed the entire nation for 3 straight years, decimating every city and village in the nation. dropped more bombs (650,000 tons) and more napalm (32,500 tons) than they did during the entire pacific campaign against japan in WW2.
      lets not even get started on Russia. saying that Russian people don't feel threatened by US aggression is about as ignorant as one could expect from an American.
      Americans may suffer from ignorance and forgetfulness, but don't expect that all the people currently living under US bombs to display the same ignorance and forgetfulness...

    The border where Ukraine meets Russia is a mere 260 miles from Moscow, not far from announced NATO exercises there in the past. This dangerous pattern began with the betrayal of agreements that saw Serbia join the alliance , even as NATO remains unpopular in Serbia after U.S. led bombing in the 1999 Kosovo War. The manner of Pompeo's brash, flippant ideals as he enters territory already viewed as intrusive by Russia, only puts Americans at greater risk. We already earned enough enemies with the torture of Muslims at home.

    PAUSE: as a U.S. Marine i participated in these war games & they are standard held all over the regularly world. this specific one in Norway i went on in '95 as a marine & the events are normal. staging these events as WWIII is flat out bullshit. Russia has been running these ops for as long also. they also know supply chains & establishing new national annex's would take a lot of red tape in Russia, now that we have world courts for such. NATO is literally the multi national answer founded to respond in cases like Russia annexing.
