Forced throws in the 4th quarter after horrible play calling all game. It's funny how we blame McDaniel's for Carr playing bad but when somehow, it was always our QBs fault with DA and PC would draw up some boo boo. It's been plenty of times video showed that the scheming and play calling was trash for us and who did everyone put the blame on? That's right, the QBs. It's crazy how that energy ain't the same.

Jameis threw 30 interceptions (we didn't have one Saints media person go back and look at Bucs video like they are doing for Carr or dive into the complexity of Arians system), Derek Carr has never produced a season as productive as that one. You know why they lost 9 games? Their defense, more specifically their secondary. You know what else is crazy? Until Carr got in Gruden's dink and dunk offense and Jameis got in Arians' no risk it, no biscuit, they were statically identical. Raw stats and metrics backs this up. This is an indictment on the Raiders O-line and the inability for Josh McDaniels to adjust from his game plan of primarily downfield reads/shot plays. The saints D-line was unblockable with 4 guys rushing. Shot plays wont work, and Carr had not time to get to his 3rd/4th read underneath. Saints were in the bottom of the league in run defense but looked like the 2000 Ravens in this game. Saints d-line had trouble rushing the passer with just 4, but they looked like the eagles d-line. Can't put everything on Carr in this game.

This fool OC for OAK MMcD, trying to force. TWTDG (take what the defense gives) at that point.
McDaniels calls the plays. A total clown and the main reason I'm done with them so long as he's there. Watching Carr tear is up in NO is going to be hella fun 💪

Pete Carmichael will prove or disprove his worth for sure. I’d feel better if SP was the coach, but Pc has learned under him for 16 years, so unless he’s got an IQ of 4, he had to have learned something

Fresh mind absorbed MMcD offense for a few years in the meetings etc. etc. MMcD offense is an intricate system, so if you’re not taking to his system, you cannot and will not succeed. Actually, that chip away offense was when Drew couldn't physically play like he used to and what you are describing is the 2017 to present offense. We ran a vertical offense where our WRs ran more intermediate/deep routes while RBs ran the short and underneath dumpoffs with the TE attacking the seam.
This game reminds me of the dome patrol days. Where the defense knew it was their team and W/L were determined if the D wanted to work hard or do their thing, that day. I think this was the game when Kamara stepped up as a vocal leader before the game. Watching the D in this game, shows me how athletic they have to be, to be in two and three spots at once, and a Dt dropping into coverage. Chasing down a check down if needed. The free agent KC Dt will be ready. That Jets Dt, better get ready to work. This d ain’t no joke. About Dc4, everyone knows you’re getting beat when you’re one dimensional. This was literally all Season, Josh McDaniels was running these deep plays all game. That’s why. Carr led the league in deep passes and TD’s while Adam’s had a lot of TD’s on low receptions. When in GB Adam’s would have more,receptions

TM is still a baller, so glad he’s still on the team and that he’s happy to be here. Speaking of Dt in the draft, i was leaning towards an IKA that can man the middle for a decade. But seeing what the saints like to do with their Dts. Which isn’t to just eat space. But to be very athletic and thick as nails, so they win quickly off the line, hold down double teams and not be run over. Even pop back into coverage and/or be able to chase down RBs running wide. Kancey with 25-30 LBS of muscle - beast. Mazi has potential, but I’m not sure you can teach speed off the line. I’m still going thru them, Carter Kancey Bresee might all be gone. Smith, Benton, Roy, and Florida Dt, might be more in our decision tree.

I want Carr to kill it this season but a lot of fans are looking at things with new toy eyes instead of a true objective view.
