You breaking down how Hunter was jogging his route pinpoints how much you understand football and the nuances of it! Loved that highlight because Hunter absolutely effected the outcome of that play. Good stuff brotha
Appreciate you breaking it down! One thing that concerns me, is the same thing we saw from Winston last year. Trying to go deep too often and not seeing guys open in the flat and short routes.
His o line wasnt helping him and things like renfrow jogging or receivers running the wrong roures happened a lot, he isnt perfect but he can make mvp Plays in certain situations. Also hes a great fade thrower, he just wasnt on the same page with Adams yet
Winston extends plays but can’t find the check down or doesn’t want or care about check downs . Dalton prefers check downs addicted to it and can’t extend plays. 2022 was brutal.
This offense is such bad design! Around 9:30 he throws to Adams for a big gain but the other receiver just runs into coverage when he should have ran over across the field. Idk if that’s an option route or just a clear route or what but he had so much space! Why start to move over and then move up the field 🤷🏾♂️?!
Awesome vid, look forward to the rest. Carr made some throws that we haven’t seen in awhile and he avoided being sacked like we haven’t seen. I think after you do this season, it would be fair to see some from the year prior. Considering it was his first year with Josh Mac.
This game I never understood only because Carr did not take 1 snap in the pre season how important is for any player to play in those games to be prepared for the first game of the season?
I'm very curious why McDaniels, the offensive guru, didn't have his potentially dominant offense play ANY snaps together in the preseason. Adams, Waller, Renfrow, and even Jacobs. Jacobs had 5 carries altogether if memory serves. Instead, McDaniels has Stidham and Garbers getting reps. Why wouldn't a new coach, with a notoriously difficult to learn system, have his starters play a few series each preseason game? 🤔 You would think a known micromanager like McDaniels would have made sure his "system" was implemented correctly by his starters and not worry so much about the guy that already had 4 years in that system getting reps. Definitely odd
Raiders fan here… I think you guys will be a hot team next year with Carr. Mcdaniels is pretty horrible as a coach. Carr will win you games in the fourth if the team can play as a TEAM!
The raiders had the 28th ranked defense And might as well had trotted out an offensive line that would make Donovan smith look like a hall of famer I think were going to be a lot better this year
Raiders Oline gave up less sacks than our O line as well as Josh jacobs was able to lead the league in rushing yards behind. I mean where did this narrative of horrible o line come from? PFF ranks them 10 by the end of the season.
@Brandon Brown Jacobs made that offensive line look great. They got a lot of credit they didn't deserve. There's a reason he was #1 in yards after 1st contact. The line didn't make holes for Josh, he made them. Also, run blocking and pass blocking are very different.
Good question. A healthy Jameis against Derek Carr, but that's just it. Not being able to play isn't better than being able to play better when HEALTHY???? I hope Jameis goes on and stays healthy and SHINES somewhere. Hell I bought a Jameis jersey b4 the season started last year and I WILL ALWAYS ROCKTHAT BAD BOY! WHODAT BABY ⚜️
Carr is a dalton clone. Sucks in redzone. Gets stat later in game to Look good. Won’t win because of him. Will do enough to keep job but isn’t an elevation
@Micheal Thomas Dalton has had a lot of advantages that Carr hasn't. In Cincinnati, he had 5 top 10 defenses AND Marvin Lewis for 8 years. He also had AJ Green, who is definitely better than Cooper and Crabtree (they had a big dropped pass problem). That kind of coaching stability and defensive presence are huge. Carr's had neither.
@@LilRedRasta I know it's just similar. Plus, our defense is no guarantee. It's a new year, with unexpected steps forward and back for various position groups.

You got them coming already. I appreciate that bro. Keep them coming 🔥
People say we overpaid, Nah ! Saints are the masters of cap gymnastics borderline Ponzi cap magic.
Mickey Loomis be doing that for really real accounting voodoo

Idk how to feel man I don’t like how we movin
We need to draft a slot WR. I don't trust Olave for high volume underneath routes, he will get injured. Charlie Jones from Purdue looks good.
Winston extends plays but can’t find the check down or doesn’t want or care about check downs .
Dalton prefers check downs addicted to it and can’t extend plays.

That year was worst
Dennis Allen (18-47) will train wreck Saints in 2023. Don't over.ook the coach factor!
2020-2021 film showcases him in a west coast offense which is what he’ll be running in NOLA. he looked more comfortable in that system

That saints game gone be weird to watch😂😂
Exactly I said the exact thing on another thread! How you happy jumping for joy when you shut the dude out head to head bad team vs bad team!
All of his best throws came from underneath center or off play action. We do a lot of both! Should be a good match for Carr
Good video broo but You GOT TO UNDERSTAND THAT WAS HIS WORST YEAR CUZ OF MCDUMASS LOL GO WATCH HIS 2021 film 2016 film 2020 any fil but this year lol
Great video
This is why I rock wit cha homie!! Show dat work!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I see you are on it!
cant wait till we get to Saints Vs Raiders, man coudnt get pass the 50
lmao I am not looking forward to that one
Now he'll be going against the Raiders defense. Teams carved them up all year!

Peat as always scare me, if peat becomes the salvage vet he should carr will be fantastic 👏
We need to draft a Tackle and move Penning to Peats spot. Then have peat as a backup.
That’s the thing I’m a die hard raiders fan Carr makes MVP plays then makes some rookie mistakes it’s been like that his whole career it is who he is
That TD to the running back is why we should draft Jahmyr Gibbs. He would run that better than Kamara 🏃🏾♂️ 💨

Carr is a mediocre QB. Dude just misses too many reads or throws. Not consistent in tempo and can't sustain enough drives.
He’s definitely overpaid lol. 0-1 with Dennis Allen.
All NFL PLAYERS AREOVERPAID.. SO WHATS YOUR POINT KERMIT. YOU STILL GOT TAYSOM. UNLESS. MIAMI BREAKS OFF SOME FRADT PICKS FOR HIM!
WHODAT BABY ⚜️
He is paid exactly what his market value is. Your cheap azz acting like it's your money.
We might be alright is he enough to win us a superbowl and Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael idk man
Is Carr really an upgrade over Winston?
Dude really

Dalton was horrible late in games, he looked good early usually.
Place the crackpipe down.

No one knows, plus this was a film break down of Carr!?? Haha
He won’t be throwing to mike Thomas next year
I feel like he got paid too much. But hopefully it was worth it
It feels like the saints just became what the Vikings have been with Kirk
