- HE'S BACK! Finally some half decent golf from me (relatively speaking) in a long time.
I’m lucky to play so many amazing courses in the UK, and this is right up there.! I take ok the Forest of Arden playing stroke play.

Not one to normally comment on videos, but you're probably one of the few relatively low subscriber count channels that ill watch across all content genres, and honestly it kind of shocks me that you are so low in sub count, maybe its just a niche community but as a high handicap golfer I find the videos really relatable compared to the other channels. Just wanted to mention that the editing is on par with someone of triple your sub count, and I'm sure if you carry on the way you are you will make it in with some of the big boys. Nice to see some improvement from you too, I feel like I am in my own personal battle alongside you to improve as much as you do and catch up to your handicap, which has been really healthy for my motivation to play. All in all class stuff mate, keep it up!

I went on vacation/holiday. Came home and checked in on you. I found some guy playing the first two holes under par. I’m like WOW, where is Dennis?
There he is! I found him on the third. Laughing and battling his way through a hole that would have had me boiling.
That is exactly why I am here.
You might not be giving golf tips. But by goodness you are giving life tips. Wonderful effort and example as always.
P.S. You’re not as far away as you might think. It’s such little things that can get us. Like stance and ball placement and tee height. Course management.

First LIke! Because weather today is not very golfish I am staying inside with the dog on my lap. Feels like 35F, wind around 20 mph with gusts, rained hard last night so I got on the interwebs and Dennis just released a video. Nice, someone has some good weather.

@@BogeyGolfUK The driving range here is outside as well, however I do have a net in the back yard, unfortunately also out in the weather. Brrrr.

What a remarkably stunning course. Beyond that, it's legit fun to watch a more realistic round of golf and I'm not trying to be funny, just a nice reminder that not everyone on YT is scratch and has country club memberships and flawless swing mechanics. Very relatable and entertaining, keep up the good work on the vids as well as your game.

I did notice on your big power shots you tend to hit off your right leg leading to tops and errant shots.

Amazing birdie! More to come! I just shot my years best (86) at a pretty tough course. I was pretty shocked but all I did was focus on smooth tempo through swing n contact was solid.

I shared your pain at the start. Play off 23 and started birdie, par, par on a recent round... followed by a 9 on a 300yd Par 4 😂

I love fall golf, it's my favorite time of year to play, except for losing a ball in the leaves lol It's finally hit here on the east coast of the states and for my round tomorrow it's supposed to be a sunny 50f (10c) and I can't wait!

Hole 9 that long put was obvious from screen that it was falling right. Not sure what you saw. A tip is to look at the general lay of the land which suggested all falling to right. That was almost as big a mistake as the chip tbh. Small things that will improve your game.

So what do you think is the weakest part of your game? Do you practice at all?
It varies round to round 😂 I’m grinding a swing change at the moment.
Tee shot on 7 is fantastic content.
You need to read up on the rules Dennis , you could of tee'd that up again with no penalty as it didnt leave the tee'ing area.
@@hairybison it's not. The teeing area is two club lengths distance behind the tee markers, stopping at the front of the tee marker.
Tee marker being the little wooden posts, not the grass.

I think you just need to minimise the damage on your bad holes. Scoring 5 over on one hole after a birdie is uncharacteristic. Tidy those bad ones up and you'll be breaking 90 regularly.
Yeah agreed if I could just keep it steady without anything catastrophic I’d be okay 😂

if you can just relax a bit more a get that swing a bit more fluid I think you can knock a dozen off your handicap in a very short time.
