Non replaceable battery a deal breaker for me but can’t wait to see what this means for the competition and more battery powered speakers coming out in the future!!
Ya it is a tough sell the non replaceable battery but i hear you on the future of battery powered speakers! Very exciting to see where its going to go!
I just got myself some used Yorkvile NX55P speakers - I need some help on how to setup 2 Yorkville NX55P speakers with a Yamaha MG10 Mixer and a DJ Controller - Numark Mixtrack pro - I helping my son getting this setup for his starting role to become a DJ music services Dj setup - Mixtrack Pro controller 2 PA Power speakers Yorkville NX55p Mixer - Yamaha MG10 Cables requirement - Currently 2 XLR cables - Male/female ends - RCA cables with 1/4 " ends - How to connect Yorkville 2 NX55p speakers to a Yamaha MG10 with a Dj Controller
You need to connect each left & right speakers to the mixer using xlrs through the main outputs. And then the dj controller needs to connect to the channel 5/6 using rca(from controller) to dual 1/4 inch into the mixer. Hope that helps.
Those NX55p's are great speakers. I used to have a set years ago and they get the job done with a well rounded sound that isn't too bright but still clear.
You really have to mess around with the equalizer settings on your phone. Intially when I got the 12 I didn't like the bass. You can't use the same equailizer setting for the 12 as you do for the 8. I got the 8 first so I noticed you actually have to turn the bass down on your phone for the 12 for it to sound good. Otherwise the bass sounds like someone banging on door. Both speakers at higher volume lose bass though. I think the bass on the 8 sounds better. Better bass sound quality. But the 12 bumps heavier and hits harder. But again gotta mess around with settings to know for sure.
Hi Djernie thanks for watching!🙏 By 60 watts I think yorkville means 60 watts of power consumed instead of output. Because it’s waaaaay louder than 60 mos def
I have a feeling that Yorkville is publishing the “watts consumed,” not output power…..A class D amp drawing 60watts will have an output power in the area of 250watts. No live sound product manufacturer would EVER market a speaker with just 60 watts of output power, especially at $1k…!!
I called Long & McQuade to rent this speaker and they had none available and only had the EXM Mobile 8. Which I already have.. The woman I spoke to said that the 8 is louder that the 12. I'm like no it isn't. She insisted that it was and I'm like then why does the 12 cost more? She's like "I dunno." 😄
@@DjNinesworld I'm using the 12 now. Today was a festival at Dundas Square. The 8 normally couldn't be heard that well over the event at the square. Even though I'm across the street at Eaton Center. All the music playing there at the square, etc. The 12? No problem. Can hear it just fine.
Solid speaker review bro. I like how you give your honest opinion on your reviews. Kudos
Always! Stay safe and thanks for watching

Thanks for watching bro! 111 dbs i think
Nice review man. Keep the gear reviews coming.
Thanks for watching!
Another speaker review! Love it:)
Appreciate you bro!
I just bought it and I am amazed, for $850 it’s worth the money, retail price goes for almost $1200 dollars
Wow you got a great deal!
That vs Ev everse 12 ot Yorkville exm tower which one is the better buy?
Overall i like the EXM Mobile Tower over the other options
Thanks for the review. Your 20-person party number for this speaker sounds way off.
I agree, it depends on the size of the venue. My bad. This speaker is more than capable of a larger party.
Is this louder than the 8 inch? Does it sound better?
I 100% agree
@Joshua Buyze how is the bass on this speaker. Need it for a party im throwing. I need it loud and bass withput distortion
SOLID review man :)
Thank you my man!

can you try the hk pro move 8??
I'll see what i can do. Thanks for watching
Is this louder than a Jbl party box?
Sorry i wouldn't know. Ive never heard the JBL party box myself yet.
What city/province you in?
Toronto Ontario sir!
How's the bass compared to the Mobile8?
Its better than the mobile 8 because its a bigger cabinet. Better bass output compared to the mobile 8 for sure

Nah i don't know what she was smoking but the 12 is way louder. But then of course it is bigger too.
