- This may very well be my most controversial video to date.
In this Five Nights at Freddys Theory I propose a very different timeline / interpretation of events whether that be the games, FNAF 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sister Location and Pizzeria Simulator or the books, Fazbear Frights and Tales From the Pizzaplex Series. With the latest release of the Dittophobia story and it's connection to FNAF 4's illusive storyline I thought now would be a good time to release this video and see what people have to say about it.

FNAF World has a character named Protoype, a damaged Freddy with its head held on only by a single spring. And in Ruin, there's a damaged Freddy without a head and Protoype written on its foot. This isn't the only connection between the two either, but that is the work of other RUclips theorists.
FNAF World is canon, and much more important to the current plot of FNAF than we currently realize or understand.
The events of fnaf world are not canon, but it does serve to give context, just like the books. The game timeline and book timeline (minus the pizzaplex stories and maybe frights) are in their own continuity.
@@Seba12322 I'll go through all the videos I've watched over the past two weeks, but there's something like half a dozen direct references to FNAF World in Ruin.
I recently reread these Scott quotes. "The Books are canon just as the games are." "Don't use the books to solve the game." Neither of those quotes say they are not canon to each other. Just that the books aren't designed to solve the games. The books can still take place between and around the games.
I agree that with FnaF World, it honestly helps to kind of build the lore and the world building in the series, this would make Desolate Hope and all other Scottgames canon as parallel universes or in the context of a meta-narrative, "games". i think you could come up with the argument that since all fnaf titles are seen as just separate games like freddy in space, which is the 57th sequel (before it was cancelled by the us), all fnaf games would be seen as parallel universe to each other. which means that fnaf 1, fnaf 2, fnaf 3 and all of those are parallel universe due to being separate game titles and yet, in the narrative (which the concept of the narrative is a meta concept) disguises them to be in the same world in the context of the story.
and its quite funny because the idea of this concept that i theorised was solely because it was done before by other authors. if you must know, akira toriyama (japanese mangaka) who was the creator of the famous classic gag dr. slump where each manga panel is actually a completely parallel event, where arale (the main protagonist) is actually a different character in every page and every comic panel because of the meta nature of the manga with akira toriyama, the creator writing all of this and has a somewhat major role as the creator of the world, just like scott. from what we know of so far, all of the books, games (+fnaf world and fis2 but minus fury's rage), troll games, desolate hope, pilgrim's progress: the video game, chipper and sons and there is no pause button)
one thing supporting the argument of the games being seen as actual games in a meta point of view is that jack o bonnie in update 2 of fnaf world mentioned to have originated from the fnaf 4 halloween DLC, technically proving they are the same character but he was transferred to the backstage for fnaf world as his code was being used by the desk man to create mini-games which the party must destroy

What's most bizarre about this from a sort-of-moderate outsider's perspective is how understandable this is when you take into account that Scott is Christian, and not a casual one, but one who has really studied at least his sect of Christianity, and the idea of a

Example: Genesis describes two, slightly different, Creation stories. Goliath, the giant, is killed by two different people. Why?

Similarly, the Apocrypha is not 'heretical' or

Similarly the array of around-canon books are extremely important and vary in canonicity, such as Clement or the Didache. Some of these works are so influential they make up much of the traditions of the major churches.
Simply put, the idea that there is a game canon, a book canon, a different book canon, they all have differing details but are all' the same canon' is not strange. It's a reflection of what canon actually refers to, rather than the strict canons that were primarily invented by Lucasfilm for the old Star Wars EU.
So the original games are Judaism, and everything that came after is Christianity

My only issue is that there is definitely aprochrypha that is heretical. The gospel of Mary is absolutely not divinely inspired in any sense and should not be taken as even historically accurate.

it's funny, cause people keep throwing out the whole robot kid theory because it's a constant theme in the books, but we've gotten almost NO theories regarding memories, which have a LOT of importance in the books. this is an interesting take. i kinda hate it. but i love the new viewpoint

I like this theory. The idea that the games affect the books and the books affect the games through fnaf world really ties everything in. It really enforces the idea that the books are important, but won't solve everything as they're different timelines, same universe.

Eleanor from Fazbear Frights is referenced in Lally's games meaning Tales is canon to Frights meaning the way Security Breach happens in the books instead follows the Frights version of FNAF. So if we really have to follow the books we should only take the books as fact and reference the events of the games, *not the points or timeline*.
I have a theory that the Tales books and Security Breach games are telling the same story but in different perspectives. The Tales books are focused on the Mimic while the game is focused on Glitchtrap evolving separate from the Mimic code from HW with William's agony/spirit taking over it and trying to take over the entire program while when he failed his last ditch effort was to stop the Mimic from regaining control. This seems like common knowledge now but what I propose is that the events in Tales/Frights happened in the games but replacing the in game events with the book versions of them and don't relate to the game characters.
For instance:
William's agony being spread to all the Fazbear Entertainment property in the warehouse in the book version of the Mimic code spreading throughout Fazbear Entertainment then being taken over by Glitchtrap.
The Mimic Endo being taken to the Pizzaplex by the workers is the book version of Fazbear Entertainment not only using the animatronics for code but literally using everything in the FNAF franchise to make the Pizzaplex.

I think with what I said in the video, I do agree with this one more or less. I mentioned it but cut it out because I thought it would bog down the video but Eleanors inclusion in Tales was a key part of me making all these connections
@@dwfan91-yes, but it is most likely that the Novels are still just a remaining and nothing more. And the connections like the cave with mushrooms in Ruin are to be nothing more then a clue to what to expect in the future since they are doing a new story
@@DJBurns-jq8mn The Novels still give/gave us SO many direct answers to the games (Henry/MCi kids names pre FNAF6) so I think there has to be more of a connection there especially when considering the major similarities in the story. For me, I really like my echo memory version of the theory, something which I'm going to be expanding upon in my next video

in help wanted when you go on the tour ride, it says the games were developed by an indie game creator to alter the narrative and perception of the events that took place at Freddy's. personally, I think the books are the canon events that took place in "our world" while the games are retellings of our world. it doesn't always line up because it's not SUPPOSED to, it's supposed to direct people's attention away from what really happened. that's why, although these events are supposedly "equally canon," they are not perfectly one and the same
Incredible theory. I think the fact that time travel and multiverse shenanigans r so massive in popular culture right now (kang/Loki in the mcu, the flash movie, the spiderverse trilogy) combined with the fact that the VERY FIRST fazbear fright is a time travel story is shockingly good evidence for silver eyes, frights, tales, and games all just being different timelines in the same multiverse. Maybe even with some of the canon events like Spider-Man 2099 argues for
you overcooked it. i don’t think anybody truly cares about whether there are multiple timelines or not. we’re all trying to figure out that ONE timeline. let’s say the timeline HAS changed or been reset, what the fuck happened in that ONE timeline?

The worst thing is that I had a similar theory a while ago Multiverse theory (with remnants ability spacetime manipulation effects being the cause of a multiverse starting from a single murder at Aftons finger tips and creating a spiralling reality (this is also to say that the spiral is collapsing and that these parallel realities are being merged within the pizzaplex

1: Help Wanted is true. At minimum FNaF 1-4 are in-canon not canon. By this in the first 4 games [and depending on how HW2 goes, possibly Sister Location and FNaF6 + UCN] are in-universe games made by Fazbear Inc. to cover up the actual events. The actual events are the Steel Wool games and EITHER the Trilogy [Silver Eyes / Twisted Ones, 4th Closet] OR Fazbear Frights AND Tales From the Pizzaplex. This means there are 2 sets of characters that either actually happened or are propaganda in-universe fanfiction

I don't want to be that guy but you use a post that's says that it is a reimagining of the story and not the story directly so you using it for evidence disproves everything
the post also says that the games story is over. Fair to say that some things have changed since then. However from Scott's later comments we can safely assume that these books are closer to "the truth" than what we might initially think.
You know I already kind of Have this theory. Already because I saw a video of the box and because. Of that, I made a connection. Accept It's when they take place in the timeline. The original 3 books take place around the time. Purple guy gets Spring locked or at least when the animatronics get possessed and then. The random a k, a, the insane ones take place. After sister occasion and how michael goes Through the events of the games. Because of circus baby. And then the Modern ones are. Obvious and then ever since the mic. I realized that hes been there since the beginning. Because of a video that mentioned, he was there with the missing children's incident. And basically, the mimic is the true mastermind. As he is the reason we have purple guy. And Ever since the bite of 80 three, it went unstoppable not only because of William and fastbear entertainment. But also because of it will being AI. And how it's been in the shadows and being unstoppable. And I have 3 insane theories about the modern timeline and because of my recent one about the next game, it kind of connects all 3. So basically You know how nowadays People always say that a old. Character besides Golden Freddy Is alive in some way. Well, I believe that it actually is them. And not their spirits like Vanessa is actually a wizard beef that escaped circus baby. Same thing with the crying child. And another theory is that lefty is actually the golden Freddy suit. And so by the time we see him an old to make us some night. It's the lefty suit burnt away. The black paint on it and other stuff. And Forming the blob because of enerd and being unstoppable. And because of the puppet being and golden Freddy Gregory escapes the golden Freddy suit. And I believe with the next game. The mimic escapes and causes. A war by manipulating humanity, and basically the world is destroyed. But Gregory manages to survive in some way using Freddy's head and so checks all around the world. But it has to go to where his adventure started. In security bridge, where always left is the deep bottom of the pizza. Plex a.k.a. Sister location. And It's basically all that remains of humamitty and It's the only other place where he can survive. And he must complete Friday and find Cassie and try the end of Apocalypse. Meanwhile, the block manages to survive and being its old ennerd form. And probably has the nuclear power and all the remnant of humanity. And it's likely more powerful. Meanwhile, Oscar Gregory in the elevator gets attacked by balora And we would have to use the fast wrench in some way. In order to stop her and fix the elevator. And we discover A hidden carnival area connected to the sister location area which connects to the origins of Eclipse And connect to the Arcade machines And so it is basically chaos as it's not only like last time. We saw the bunker, but it's also our job. Does save humanity? And as Cassie is connected to all of the bunker because of how the mask is thanks to the Brazil ending, which is a reference to a movie that probably is the explanation of the mask. And it's probably the big finale of 5 nights at freddy as it connects together, all those other stuff that we never seen. like into madness and exc But the theory about the nuke is Not exactly completed.
