I have learned a lot and had tried several times to register but in vain and it has just gone through in a matter of minutes. I was told it takes two weeks for verification and you must have a heavy account first.

You did not mention the deposit method requirements. I have opened a Payoneer account but I do not know where I need to include this information.
after you open the account and try ti list the item you get banned or suspended, that is forever, as the laws on amazon are getting more strict, so the big question is, what do you do from there, you need to do a video explaining the rules of amazon as a lot of us are getting banned by strict rules created by previous people that made mistakes, it happened to me, what do I do now? need help fast..

Could you make an update for this? Payooner & Amazon does NOT allow to receive your payments in USD but rather ONLY in your local currency even if your are allowed to receive payments in USD,so you lose a LOT of money with the currency exchange from USD to your local currency,would you recommend open a US LLC and open a US Bank Account instead so that you can receive the payments in USD currency and not lose pretty much a lot of your profits with Amazon FBA??

I have the same issue. I tried to get a US address & phone no. Then after I entered my credit card details, it said its not valid since the US address doen't match with the billing address of the credit card. I can't put the correct address as my country can't be found on the dropdown list of countries. Hope there's still a way & someone can help us.

I had already sended my passport scan, my drivers licence scan, my special banks acount statement (just arange specialy for this event in my bank and translated in english) - but system just keep trowing me back. Hi Sarah, Ted, thanks for this video. I've gone ahead to follow your ebook and created my Amazon Seller Pro Account. It was not as smooth sailing as your video, as I have been asked for extra documentations such as:
1) A copy of a government provided national ID. Well, Australia does NOT have national IDs?! I just provided a copy of my driver's license. Hopefully it will be accepted.
2)Bank Statement showing the same address I provided and same address displayed on the national ID. Once again, Australian government do not provide national ID.
3) Email address but I already provided an email address.
4) Phone number but I already provided my mobile number.
I now have to wait for my application to be approved in about a week's time which will probably eat away into the free 30 days.
Thank you for the update. Yes, it changed since I created this video unfortunately. It shouldn't eat into your 30 days though since you won't actually have an account until it's been approved :) in the meantime I recommend looking for items so that you're ready to go once it's approved!
Thanks for the reply. Amazon has replied in just hours! My quarterly bank statement was not accepted coz it is not dated inside 60 days?! How weird, seeing it is the latest Bank Statement... Will have to see if I can generate a monthly one or something... will ask them what other document I can provide.

Hi Lisa. It isn't much different than if you live in America, quite honestly! One big difference is that you'll have less sales tax requirements than USA-based sellers which I discussed in a video a couple of weeks ago - which makes it a bonus for you :)

Hello Sarah, Please help me! I've recently search online and theres some people saying that you ALSO need to have an EIN number from the IRS, not only for the tax purpose but also for importing merchandise to the amazon FBA warehouse....Is this true or are we OK with the info in your vid?
In your video you say that you don't pay taxes in the US, but when I asked that question, Amazon replied that I won't pay any taxes in my country (since I don't have a company there), but only in the US.
If your company is based in the USA then you'll pay taxes within the USA. My company is based within New Zealand even though I ship products to the USA, so I pay income tax here in New Zealand. It is unusual to open a company in a country outside your home country (in this case the USA). If you would prefer that though that is fine. Selling on Amazon doesn't mean your company is automatically based in the USA though. Also I wouldn't ask Amazon for tax advice, they are not expects - ask your accountant :) hope that helps

There is no need to do this. In the past it was necessary, so it's possibly just outdated advice :)
In one of your video you specified that workaround for those who live outside 136 countries approved by amazon can use some services like getting US mailing service and phone number (virtual) from US and use Payoneer for payment and bank account. is this only possible for individual seller account and not for Professional account as you have told?
Or is it outdated even for the individual seller's account since the video was made in 2015?
I kinda understand why do we need credit card in the professional account which is an insurance to amazon to get paid every month regardless of your performance and that's why we don't need credit card in the individual account since we are paying per transaction fees (099$). am I correct?s
the last thing, in the individual account we don't have to fill tax form since we are selling less than 40 unit which makes sense why it's not a problem to get US mailing service and phone number! did answer my questions?m
I'm wanting to start an Amazon business. Emigrating to USA (from UK) later this year when the powers that be grant my fiance Visa status. Haven't gone as far as sourcing a product yet. Would you advise starting sooner rather than later OR wait until I get to the USA. However I won't have residency status and license to work for some time after that. So presumably start with UK and income tax and switch to an Amazon USA status at a later date. When I'm living in America transferring money from my UK bank account to a US one will incur charges. May have to transfer to my fiance (who will then be my husband) in the interim. Not sure on proviso for setting up an Anerican bank account.. ..this nitty gritty boring stuff is tedious.

I couldn't understand the #2 requirement... So: they will need a credit card from one of these companies, but they also need you to have a payoneer account? Which are the tasks of my own credit card, and which are the tasks of the payoneer account?
srincrivel1 i believe #2 requirement is for seller to make payment to amazon, whereas payoneer allows amazon to make payment to seller. Hope this clarifies

Sarah it seems that it's possible to work around incase of opening an individual account for those who live outside 136 countries that is not accepted by amazon as you showed in the other video, but from what I know it's not possible to do it for merchant (Professional account) ? is there any way we can do this for a professional account
