I don''t think I've ever seen burl mulberry before. 1690-ish for a date and Scottish? 1500 was my guess. Only 1100? Bargain. I'd bet if it were closer to the Border I might be right. There aren't any others. Bloodstone isn't valuable in itself, and there isn't much silver on it, but a wooden bit that old could really fly.
