Hi - I'm glad you found the video interesting. Apologies for the delay in responding but I had to check back through my stock books. The diameter of the brass plate was 15 inches or approximately 39 cm. I will add central Iowa, USA to the subscriber list. Regards, Mark. 😁
Traditionally I think you may be correct. But in modern times you can buy them with pretty as well as many feet as you want. Nothing wrong with being pedantic, I'm the same! 🤣👍.

From Oregon. Enjoyed your informational video. I have a bronze bell with a circle inside a triangle as well as either a person with their hands in the air or a wine glass with a circle in it right below the triangle. I can't find anything on that mark. Do you have any suggestions on where I could look for those marks? Thank you!
Nice video... Learn a lot about the kinds of metal...in USA.. I had to look up your conversion of 35 pounds? 25 pounds?...in to US dollars to understand your anticipated revenue.
Another gem mark. It's films like this that, well draws you in .never knew about the different sounds they make .you really do learn something different every day..keep it up mark
It’s almost 11 pm here in Arizona USA. I can’t sleep so I’m cleaning my home instead, binge playing your videos in the background because your voice is very soothing and the information is very interesting. I’m having a good time playing the game of what metal is it and how much is it worth. Greetings and goodnight!
Hi - I'm pleased you found the video helpful. It's not uncommon for even experienced dealers to mix up old brass and bronze, especially if the brass has been oil rubbed to give it a dark antique patina. Regards, Mark.
Hi April. Where approximately are you based? I come across them when I'm out and about sourcing in the central England region. They are always listed in my eBay shop if you are in the UK? Regards, Mark.
@@antiquescentral Hi Mark would be good if you could do a " How to series" on waxing and polishing different Metals.woods ect. I would enjoy watch them........
Here is a film highlighting a few basic tips to distinguish between copper brass and bronze. Hope you new dealers out there find it useful 😁👍.
Thank you from central Iowa, USA; I found this very informative. May I ask the size of the last item - the brass plate?

Brass=60% copper+35%zinc+5%led ; Bronze=70-80% copper+led or silicium or aluminum or tin. Ancient Bronze is a copper + 10-12% tin
Thank you for sharing this information with the community, much appreciated. Regards, Mark.
