This is Helpful as My 24 Escape Active is on Order with Tech Pack 1! I enjoy these helpful Videos as I have a Couple months before taking Delivery! Does The Active Have a TACHOMETER? I did not see it in the video.
There is a digital tachometer if you go into settings you can find the toggle for it. Then it will be a up and down meter to the left of the digital speedometer.
I have 23 escape st line hybrid awd with basic 8” screen. Back up camera guidelines on the screen are present but they don’t move while I’m in reverse. Vehicle is not equipped with parking sensors. Question, should those lines move or not? My dealer couldn’t figure out that. They send request to ford and few months later they still waiting for the answer. They replaced back up camera, and it didn’t help.
The lines should move based on your steering wheel position. There will be solid lines that don't move and some faded white lines that do move with the steering wheel.
I would have hit the down thumb but you did a good job, there are just way too many bells and whistles that take your eyes off the road. Did you notice how may times you looked down and away from the wind shield when you played with any thing on that 13 inch screen. And why do you need all that screen, are you going to watch movies or something. When you played with the interior lights, I've got the same buttons on my 1st Edition Maverick but I can't get my interior lights to come on when I get into the truck. I've been told I need to drive my Mav more often. To quote a 1950's saying, what's that got to do with the price of eggs in China. AND if I don't drive my Mav I've been told it will go in hibernation, you have to be kidding me! They are nice vehicles but someone has to put the brakes on the engineers and their addiction to toys.
Sounds like a sales pitch because it takes him forever to get talking about the controls. He talks too much about what is available in each car package. 😡
Delivering information on how to get the screen seemed important for those looking to order or find one. Look over the videos in this channel, and you will see that Tim is about helping people get the vehicle configured they say they want. He even spends 2-3 hours on Tuesday nights answering questions on their livestream. No hook, free advice.
"Nice HOW TO VIDEO"...REALLY? I know no more now than before wasting my time watching this video! Any one having even a lil common damned sense would have had the camera on the dash, not you!
@longmcarthurford I have no idea what you covered as like the majority, within 5 mins I was already watching another video, an informative one where the controls are shown! Heed that advice!
