I bought the basic ST line escape 2023. I was surprised yesterday when I took a curve a little fast. The car stayed flat around the curve. Very nice. I have 1500+ miles on it and I’m still learning things about the car. I love it.
I ordered the St-line Select with the tech pack 2, panoramic vista , upgraded 19 inch wheels, in the Vaper Blue metallic!!! 🙌🏻❤️
How’s it going? Do you like it? I’m looking at Select vs Elite…
Here an Airbag, there an Airbag, everywhere an Airbag
Here’s a HY-BIRD there’s a HY-BIRD LOL 😂
Sign me up Mitchell. . .I want one! I leased one 6 years ago and enjoyed it a great deal!
ESCAPE ST?!! 🤯
I had the 2020 Titanium Escape before I got my OBX SAS BRONCO. The Escape is an AMAZING vehicle. Loved mine! Would get another!
I still have my 2020. I have the 2.0 turbo four cylinder and getting an average around 28-29 mpg. It definitely exceeded my expectations on power and mpgs.
I ordered a 601A yesterday with the vista roof in vapor blue with the space grey/black interior.
Platinum!!!
Hy-bird 😂
Thanks for the video! Yes, Ford has made it a bit confusing to figure out all the trim levels at the start. Once the insurance adjuster says our 2015 Escape is a write off, there is an Escape Select our dealer can transfer that actually has every option there is. Don't need the tow package, but you never know!
HighBird
Wasn't considering the Escape but I need to go check one out now. I'm interested in the ST Elite 500 or 501A package or the Platinum 600 or 601. I had no idea that the new Escape offer these kind of options.
The only design recommendation I would suggest for the next iteration of the Escape is to give it Mustang MachE LED tail lights and or give the Ford logo the same backlight effect as the Lincoln logo.
Highly recommended. I have a 2020 with the 2.0 Ecoboost and it's a great vehicle. The 2023 looks a little better and is even better than an already great vehicle.
@@mykeonthemovejust bought my wife the AWD 250 hp ST Elite. It’s absolutely sick. So much get up and go. I have an eco boost f150 and I’m loving what Ford is doing with their turbos.
The red you show is not the new Cinnabar Red, it is much darker and almost purple.
I agree that the Maverick not having cruise on the base level is strange and kept me from getting one!
HI BIIIIRD!
ps. Ford SUV engines are now ICE and ECE as well. do not park them in an enclosed area.
What you talkin bout? I park both of mine in my garage and no worries.
Surprise…. At about 2000 miles my city mpg dropped suddenly f.rom 41.x to 38.1 mpg. I took it to Lakeland ford where I bought it. I actually received a letter from the service manager stating there was nothing wrong. My driving area hasn’t changed. Neither has anything else. It is a great car, but if your service is terrible, let everyone know where you bought it. That’s Lakeland ford, Lakeland Florida. Please pass around…..
Amazing detailed review. I feel like an escape expert now😊👍
That's more fixings than a Golden Corral salad bar. LOL
I want one with a 5.0 coyote. Also in a mustang.
hybRid….. r before i, especially after b! 😂
Whats the major difference between the Platinum and ST-Elite? Seat stitching and suspension?
I bought our Ford escape st line hybrid that arrived while we were looking to buy. How the heck can I tell what I have? It is a base hybrid model, but which one? The owners manual in the dash just lists things, but doesn’t explain anything. How can I learn what I have, and how it works, or what it does? I.e. what is the difference between normal setting and eco setting? Do I gain/lose anything with either setting? Can I buy a complete owner’s manual? Where?
I had a 2017 Titanium, would like a Platinum in Altas Blue and the Space Gray interior with tow pkg and I am good to go.
We need “this is how you order a Ranger Raptor” video.
No ventilated seats is a deal breaker.
I’m gonna miss this from my Explorer 😢 but I need a smaller vehicle.
Do the safety nannies lower your insurance rates ?
HyBRID not HyBIRD 😅
I cannot find a dealer since 2021 that will order me a Escape PHEV. they all want to sell me what the have on lot but will not make an order for me.! How do we get dealers to make orders.
AD milk chilli w beanz red pepper jack cheese swiss rye bread.. ready to watch
I Believe its the 2.0 Motor NOT 2.3
So if you want one that can get out of its own way , you have to spend 10,000 + more dollars . What ever happened to engine choice without all the "packages" ???
Nice 🏁🏁
My escape is the hybrid.
Do you like it? How does it drive? I’m looking at Elite but not many options available for hybrid
Hello Mitch. I am VERY impressed with this video. I have been looking forward to getting an Escape Plug-in Hybrid however I encountered a few flaws. One flaw is that in the state where I am from, Ford is apparently at their limit on making Plug-in Hybrids because where I am from, it is not a PHEV state like California. Why would that be? Additionally, I have found numerous dealerships in the state and only found TWO Escape hybrids. The second flaw is as of 5/31, they are no longer taking orders for a 2023 Ford Escape PHEV. This means I will have to wait for the 2024s. When do you think they will be ready for pre-order?
I heard that the order bank will open August 14th with production starting in mid November.
What is a Hi-BIRD Vehicle ?
But can you trust Fords transmission and did the fix the coolant leaking into the engine??
What issue did you find in the transmission?
@@lego4virgo The prior model years 2013-19 had nothing but issues with their transmission. Some failing at 50k but most would fail between 80k-100k. Between that and the coolant leak and Fords lack of accountability, it’s a questionable vehicle. To bad too because I liked my 2014 Escape and like the look of the new one.
@@ther8764 Interesting--I got to 105k with my '14 Escape SE, before I rolled it on a September summer evening, in 2019. Got a leftover '20 Escape S AWD in May 2021, for $20,200 out-the-door. A nice car, but an issue with a bad welding job from the factory, got my car into the local Ford dealership body shop, and a new driver's side door (NHTSA is now looking into it, because there were 118 other similar incidents for the Escape). I like the new one--looks a little sleeker than my current one, but do hope that they've gotten the manufacturing down pat, this time.
Go ahead and order. See how that goes. It took Ford 6 1/2 months to build our 2023 Escape.
Hi Bird
The Escape has evolved from a small boxy mini SUV to a much sleeker crossover
Can you get the PHEV in 4wd or awd?
At the moment only 2wd
Get that donut outta my trunk!
Hi bird.
The word is Hybrid, not Hybird.
Nothing like talking with your hands.
👉Der Ford ist Besser 👍, als der Opel.. WIR WOLLEN den Ford.
When is Ford going to start making cars again I don't like SUV'S
Have you seen the 2023 Taurus that's available in the middle east ? Google it.
CarPlay on ford still makes me gag. Probably going to end up in a Toyota at this point since they don’t insult me for buying their cars
order your Escape with a Toyota engine and tranny. it will last longer with fewer problems. and much better trade in value.
I haven't had any issues that are worth talking about with my 4 y/o Escape.
I cant understand why people still buy junk ford, SMH!!!!!
Why are you over here, on a Ford video?
PLEASE DON'T ORDER AN ESCAPE. FORDS RECENT RECALL HISTORY IS GOD-AWFUL. I HAD A 2017 AND 2019 ESCAPE AND BOTH SUFFERED FROM THE COOLANT INTRUTION ISSUE. I FINALLY TRADED THE 2019 FOR A LOADED CHEVY TRAX, 2024 RS. I'M LOVING IT AND ITS A HELL OF A LOT CHEAPER
I have a 2020 and it's been great. I would highly recommend the Escape especially with the 2.0 Ecoboost.
@@302Mustang13 I CERTAINLY DO HOPE YOU HAVE GOOD LUCK WITH IT, BUT THE 1.5L ECOBOOST ENGINES ARE LIKE DRIVING A TICKING TINE BOMB. AND MINE WAS ALREADY HAVING THE COOLANT INTRUTION ISSUE. KEEP YOUR EYE ON YOURS. ALL ECOBOOST ENGINES HAVE INTRUSION BUT SOME MORE THAN OTHERS.
@@dont4450 I could have told you 10 years ago to avoid the 1.6 and 1.5 four cylinder Ecoboosts. I did test a Fusion with the 1.6 Ecoboost when it first came out but regretted it cause they had bad fuel lines in early builds and were catching on fire in high numbers. The current 1.5 is a new 3 cyl that is based on the 1.0 3 cyl they've had in Europe for many years. However, I purchased a 2020 with the 2.0 Ecoboost. It's been flawless so far and I don't expect that to change. I do my research and pick the best engine that typically is the most powerful. My fuel economy is insanely good
Who cares. Unlock your caps.
Ford gone woke I wouldn't buy another Ford ever again then can disappear like bud light and target
you prefer car mfg to be asleep ?
All manufacturers are pretty much woke by your standard. Guess you won't be buying any vehicles anymore.
Better be woke than be sleeping in a cave
Poor you, such a victim.
And yet, here you are, Gordon, trolling a Ford video?
