  • Welcome back to my channel! In today’s video, I’m excited to share my transformation of the Italian edition of Pachinko by Min Jin Lee from paperback to hardcover.
This time, I experimented with a self-made book cloth for the cover. I did encounter a few challenges while applying the htv, and I’m about 90% sure it’s due to the fact that I used a very budget-friendly vinyl; the remaining 10% might be because the viscose blend fabric isn’t the best match for vinyl application, I don't really know but this is what I think. However, I persevered and used it for another book cover as well! To cover up my mistakes, I tried using some red permanent vinyl, as I didn’t have the heat transfer version in that color, so I made do with what I had! Despite the challenges, I really love the idea and design of the cover. Since I also have a copy in the original language, I plan to recreate it later using better materials. Let me know what do you think! 🥰

Thank you! 🥰 I use acrylic paints and in this case I also use a gold pigment powder 😊
