Making my own book cover | Pachinko | DIY with Cricut Joy

Welcome back to my channel! In today’s video, I’m excited to share my transformation of the Italian edition of Pachinko by Min Jin Lee from paperback to hardcover.
This time, I experimented with a self-made book cloth for the cover. I did encounter a few challenges while applying the htv, and I’m about 90% sure it’s due to the fact that I used a very budget-friendly vinyl; the remaining 10% might be because the viscose blend fabric isn’t the best match for vinyl application, I don't really know but this is what I think. However, I persevered and used it for another book cover as well! To cover up my mistakes, I tried using some red permanent vinyl, as I didn’t have the heat transfer version in that color, so I made do with what I had! Despite the challenges, I really love the idea and design of the cover. Since I also have a copy in the original language, I plan to recreate it later using better materials.
