Anything that I do, show or discuss on this channel is my opinion, or what I do for my family. You should always do your research to decide what is right/safe for you. I have been homesteading, preserving & prepping for years, but I am not a professional in any of these fields. What about a bedside commode made for the elderly or infirm? Got the bucket right on it but smaller than a 5 gallon bucket a and it sits higher and has arms for easy getting up and down. You can use a plastic bag in it with kitty litter or sawdust etc. Much more comfortable than a 5 gallon bucket!
A quick idea that I learned from Alaska Granny (another you tube influencer) is once your large size liquid laundry soap container (the largest sized container with the push in spout on one end) is empty you can thoroughly clean that out and fill with fresh clean water (and refresh that water once a month) to use to wash pans and necessary dishes. Save as many of those laundry containers and keep the water fresh in each one for dish cleaning. The more of those containers you have the more cleaning only water you have. Side note: inspect containers over time if there is eventual deterioration and replace if and when needed
When i had surgery years ago, i found that i could mix Vinegar & Water to bathe with, kills odors😊 and don't have to rinse it off, cause the smell dissipates when it dries.
I would say that EVERYONE should have feminine hygiene pads on hand because you never know who may show up in your life, and then bladder pads can be interchangeable with it. You never know, under stress, that if we aren't in the least bit incontinent or semi-incontinent, we might be come that way.
Hi folks i am so glad to be back watching . this last sunday i had a stroke .thank god hubby was fast had me at the hospital in 5 minutes . got the shot and a took worly bird ride . emergency surgery. i am home and recovering. thank gosh we have food put back. a friend came to see me and said we need to stock up at Dollar tree . the are going up to
Baby wipes are also a must...you can clean essential areas of your body without water and feel refreshed.
With liquid bleach not holding up long term, it might be good to stock bleach tablets. I have quite a few bottles (unscented) and it sure feels good knowing that they are in my stash!
Aloe gel, castor oil, alcohol, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, epsom salts, essential oils
You should do a video on how to make feminine pads! Would benefit a lot of people! Thanks for all your videos! Prays for everyone!
I also prep panty liners, which can extend the use of one pair of underwear to 2 or 3 days when water is ctritically low. Pantiliners can be called "underwear protectors" for men and boys if they are squeemish... just take them out of original packaging.
Pine bedding pellets do a better job than kitty litter for camp toilets and are cheaper. Available at places like Tractor Supply and run around $10 for a 40 lb bag.
Vitamin A&D ointment and Zinc Oxide. Bottom irritations happen. Even for Adults. Also good for sunburns and minor irritations.
Borax also works for fleas in the carpet and mixed with a little sugar for ants
If you have to work with a bad smell a little Vicks under the nose under a mask works wonders!
Great video! Thanks for sharing. FYI kitty litter is the best thing to put on icy patches because it won't burn your pets feet or other animals feet. Its also great to put under your tires if you find yourself stuck on an icy patch. I carry a bag in my car just for that purpose.
I would add coffee filters. They can be used to filter water before you purify it, dry food "plates" and a wet wipe to clean up. They store every easy.
But do not flush the wipes as they can 1,000’s of $$$ of plumbing problems. My late stepmom found out the hard way.
As far as eater for dishes during the Dust Bowl people used the dry powdered soil to scrub their dishes.
Plus dry shampoo, because of you I had all of this on hand
I would like to see the match stash😁
