- In today's vlog, we sail into Juneau, Alaska on Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas. First we fly with Coastal Helicopter Tours over Mendenhall Glacier and then land on Herbert Glacier! Wowza! That is quite the dreamy Alaska view! 👀 That water 💧 must have tasted so fresh. Totally inspired me to fill up my water bottle now. Shut up!!! Helicopter 🚁 ride time!?! Thanks for showing us around Juneau… oh we love food truck areas.
You're so welcome! The helicopter was amazing!, the glacier water was SOOO refreshing (definitely bring some bottles if you go!) and Juneau food trucks were a perfect lunch before getting back on the ship! Glad ya'll enjoyed! We have another coming out Saturday, so stay tuned!

I wonder if they’ve changed their tours because I think we were on the glacier 30-45 minutes! 20 minutes might feel quick, but it’s still worth the experience if that better fits your budget!!!

how long did you stay on the glacier with this tour? im trying to pick which helicopter tour to take right now...
This company stayed the longest! I think it was around 45 minutes. It was the right amount of time, we didn’t feel rushed and they landed where there was no one else in sight 😍

what was better, flying over glaciers or walking on glacier??
Both helicopter -ing over the glacier and walking on it were amazing in their own way
I wonder how many tourist have fallen into those deep Crevasses in the glacier never to return?
Sounds like it takes 50million years for something that falls in to come out the other side!
How long they allow to stay on the surface
30-45 mins, which sounds short but really was enough time! Plus you get about a 45 minute scenic helicopter tour too.

Am I allowed to bring my drone with me to the glacier tour?
The company we used didn’t allow us to bring any personal belongings, only what would fit in out pants pockets, so I would plan on no, but it can’t hurt to ask whichever company you plan to fly with before hand just in case!
