Irin Benny, Occupational Therapist at Eden Child Development Centre Calicut has completed her Bachelors in Occupational Therapy (BOT) from National Institute For Locomotor Disabilities Kolkata (NILD- Kolkata). She is been working as an occupational therapist since 2019. Her areas of interest include Paediatrics and Sensory Integration Therapy. In this video, she talks about Sensory Integration Therapy with special reference to the Tactile senses. She explains what is a tactile system, tactile dysfunction, tactile hypersensitivity and hyposensitivity in autism.
