Try using plastic pouring spout that is made specifically for pouring from the can - clips onto rim of the can - saves paint running down the outside and even into the rim of the can. Then just wipe and clean the plastic with a bit of thinners. They pay for themselves in saved paint. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA.
Montana Big Sky eh Phil!!!!
Yeh maybe silver base coat. Might help the coverage
For sure! I’ve tried that since then in one of my later videos, and I was very happy with the results.
@@flyinphil6884 but the black base is still nice. But , it’s just the look you want. And with candy and or flake it’s the look after ifs finished. I had some candy once I was painting a friends mc tank , I put 4 base coats down and candy on top. Yeh made it harder for myself lol, but that’s the thing with custom painting. To many variables
@@jondoe8816 That’s what makes custom painting fun. I enjoy just spraying speed shapes and test pieces to see what results I can get!
Make a spout from wide masking tape 🤔
I paint my boards silver. You can get away with less flake
Thanks for the tip! I'll keep that in mind next time around.
Different color effect with a dark background compared to a light background color.
